With all due props to Barnett and Clark

Our best player in 2025 has been Egan. In vintage career best form. Had Robson not also been in good nick Wayde would be pushing for SOO.
He was involved by Madge in talks but wasn't that close I reckon. Some blokes are made for rep games and Egan seems to be a bit too slightly built for my liking for Origin. All while favouring him because of my Warriors bias and agreeing with you on his merits.

Not too fussed about how we are winning, as the teams completely exceeding my season expectations at this stage of the season.

GK is a bit of a worry from Metcalf, he's missing a fair few regulation shots. TT and Pompey are clearly better kickers, but I have to assume Webby doesn't see Pompey & TT in his full strength 17 so is pushing for Metcalf to improve. Otherwise it doesn't make a lot of sense.

On to the annual F* Todd cup, hopefully the field isn't too chopped up by that point. Thankfully we are 4th game and not 8th.

With the attributes of the roster we've got i would say when u see its a boring scrappy game unfolding......thats a great thing for us, Thats where we need to live, u know we're on the right track. We're not a side thats going to blow teams off the park.

Been critical of Capewell as well this year (deserved imo) but without doubt his best effort of the year.

Good teams, attacking teams like Manly, the Roosters, Broncos will score six points straight away and be feeling quite comfortable about giving us a hiding.

Our lot will dial in the grind and start forcing errors, forcing them to concede six agains, penalty's, they get frustrated, before you know it half time is looming and they are still on six nil wondering wtf is going on.

No one likes playing the ugly talent less grinder that won't stay down when you punch em in head. That's us.
As the fight wears on we drag them down to our level eh, they find themselves spending long spells defending down their end against unorthodox albeit ugly attack, eventually we get points after a hundred attempts- boom six all now the opposition are really frustrated - game on.

We have been doing it all year and getting away with it because dudes are working overtime in the effort areas, in basketball it is called hustle, and we are really good at it.

I think they have to make a spot for Tuapiki or Pompey in the best 13 just for goal kicking.
Put RTS at 14 instead of starting him and use him as elite utility cover -Roger can cover FB, centre and wing.
Or just play Pompey and Berry to NSW cup.

Or get everyone to practice goal kicking. They earn enough to have it added to their skill sets.
