Honestly we were the better team in most areas but we shouldn’t be surprised our attack sucks - it’s been like that all season.

Once we were miles behind the ref was giving everything our way to keep us in the contest. The score flatters us. Hence they contested 3 refs calls and we didn’t even need to contest any!

Time to start the cycle - bitch and moan for 24 hours, depressed resignation then building to being pumped later in the week for the next game!

Some of our experienced guys have some terrible play the balls. Though CNK, RTS, Capewell in particular were lucky not to get pulled up a few times.

The young guys manage to get their foot to it or at least close when they miss.

Some of the older guys are a real threat for a roll ball penalty.

That was one of those games where in general play there wasn't much between them. Some swings in momentum.

The key thing was for the majority of it the same team kept scoring.

I disagree.

We completely dominated them.

Statistically the expected score should have been something like 20 - 12 to Warriors.

We gave up far too many points vs field position.

It's a killer really

Im not sure on Erin, Leka yes. But the only two who stood out as playing well were RTS and Pompey imo.

Yeah, Erin only 140m and 28 tackles less than 50 minutes. Bloke should be ashamed.

Charnz...average. Only 320m.
Fish? Terrible. Only 180m.
DWZ, another poor performance. 170m and no poor reads.

Guys, some of yas need to get a grip. Yes, we didn't win and there were some poor aspects for sure, but the effort is clearly there.

Just one of those nights when things go against you. I think, up until the 35 min when Moses kicked and it ricoched off our player back into an Eel for an error was our first bit of luck. Everything fell their way.
When was the last 100m try in the first 5 minutes of a game? That shit neeeever happens.

Imo that's the best we've played in about 5 games and we lost. That's ruba leeg for ya

Needs to be like a cauldron or a pit where opposing sides absolutely hates to play. Like the NFL Lumen Field (Seattle Seahawks) stadium so loud the players can't hear the qb calling signals.
But we are! One Stadium and our supporters are loud and parochial! Probably the best supporters in the NRL. Our boys have had a shitty mental block at home this year.

Also, what the fuck was Moses crying about in his interview afterwards. Penalty count was 3-5 to us. Sounded like he implied we got a massive leg up?
Eels fans feel they were hard done by. There was a moment in the game where Moses was told to “be very careful” by the ref, didn’t catch exactly what he said but it was along the lines of asking why we (Warriors) were getting all the calls

Some shape around Leka would be nice.
That first try should have been an indication on how to play. When we get down there with get some shape and run hard and direct.

The Leka try in the second when he went through also should have been a hint.

A lot of the other teams see something that works and keep going back to it.

Leka would be more effective running hard into gaps instead of being used one out getting tackled by two people.

I hope Webster in the preseason practices a plan B. We are so predictable that other teams know exactly what we are doing.

Our young guys were good tonight. TMM looked good coming on tonight. DWZ looked like he was high. No urgency at all. Clark a beast as per usual. CNK was poor. I know his stats will show he ran over 300M but everywhere else he was poor.

At least our young guys will experience 1 finals game which is all we will likely get.
That plan B needs speed and X factor. Apart from Leka I do t know who the other guys would fear in those clutch moments. RTS, Pompey and Egan all look threatening but then generally die with the ball. I think we have to bring some of that riskier play back into our gameplan in a calculated way. And we need more threats with the ball in hand to execute. Speed is the answer on the flanks. We need a gun. A Desert Eagle. Or a Magnum .357. 🔫🔫

I don't understand why some of you are banging on about soft defence or lack or creativity or too many errors. We were in a position to win and earnt that opportunity/try only to be once gain ripped off with poor officiating. That was a shit call! We get the pointy end of the stick all the time. It won't change.

These Aussie motherfuckers don't want us to win the comp. Just happy for us to stick around as we no doubt are a cash cow for the NRL. The club got a fuck you not a thank you for all the sacrifices the club made during covid to keep the comp going.

Fucking joke eh. Going to the pub for a scrap. Laters whanau. Blehhh
