What about JFH off the bench or is he worth his value?
Lol. I would actually pick him to go to the bench but there’s basically 0% chance Andrew Webster does that.

He’s an absolute legend, but by 2027. JFH is going to be a million dollar shell. And a burden on our cap. Like Jason Taumalolo
But unlike Jason, he jjust doesn’t have the physical attributes to power his way through it. And hasn’t had high output for at least a few years now.

To all saying how did we make top 4 and we should be up by 20 let this sink in any team you think has done better has lost to this dragons side and we have been on the other side of the ledger in terms of injurys and misfortune and still remained in control of games winning ect we have let errors cost us but remained semi dominant the usual edge is leaky but our outside backs have been chopped and changed so much this year need reps together to build that connection
What? That backline been the same all year. Combinations aren’t gonna do shit for us now bring in players who deserve it.

It felt like the momentum was turning. The first 10mins of the second half will be critical.

They/Drags look shattered by the end of the half and the HIAs will surely take a toll. They were well disciplined with the ball that half too and we hardly got many shots in their 20. When we did we were just other scored or went close.

Our D stiffened up a lot in that second 20 too. But man that edge is as brittle as sand.

Still well in this.
We need to go through the middle forwards will be getting tired. Keep them out and we can run them down.

TSS and Demi have livened things up.
Our first 30 minutes was poor.
Get Niukore off. He does his best but his best days are behind him.
A right side attack and defence of Boyd, Niukore and Pompey together is sloth like.
I have no guilty conscience about beating a 15 man team given our run of injuries this year and lack of calls when we get taken high.
Get EIT and Healey out there right away so we can run them ragged.
Replace Niukore and Ford.
Ford has been massive but has done his job.
We need points.

How in the world did we fluke it to top 4 this season. Amazing that we are in the top 8 really. Show this gane to aliens and say the team in white is one of the better rugby league teams and they would laugh
We were scrapping through early on. We were on the better side of luck for once. We had the lowest PD in the top 4, and still do of the Top 8 teams. No win outside of the Sharks game felt convincing.

Someone else mentioned a noticeable shift in how we’ve been reffed in the later half of the season - thinking about it that seems the difference especially in the closer games we’ve lost since. But no excuse - we’ve still failed to execute what we can control.

Then there’s the injuries of course, but the team yet again lacks resilience. Shits always going to be against us, so what.

Thats what preseason is for, what the gameplan is for, what recruitment is for, what player development is for. It’s what the team culture should be built upon - being resilient, sticking to our protocols no matter what happens.

Mana can’t be performative, and that’s no disrespect to the beautiful pre show, but that Mana did not carry thru onfield today and hadn’t been present in this team for a long while now.

We lack confidence, belief and conviction.

Just a disappointing way to end what was looking to be a positive season on field for this club.
