1. TT
2. DWZ/Kali
3. CNK
4. Pompey
5. RTS
6. CHT
7. Boyd
8. JFH
9. Healey
10. Ford
11. Halasima
12. Capewell
13. Clark
14. TMM
15. Demetric
16. Niukore
17. Laban

With Ali injured, as usual our center stocks are low. Capewell was very poor there and banged up and shouldnt be center. No idea with Webby would back EIT into the left so just went with cnk who did a good job there v Sharks last year.

TT has been in hot form, play the hot hand and keep him at FB. Plus id sah he better in the high ball which phins will target with Katoas kicking game. Either way whoever marks Herbie will have a tough night (not to mention hammer lurking around).

If capewells not fit then keep niukore there with halasima and id bring in Ale or Afoa over TSS.

At the end Webby’s TLT will probably be same as titans bar Egan. The same issues in 2024 where he played banged up veterans and playing Ford for far too long.

if the edge of capewell and dal remains, herbie for a double

Not saying we should change our style, but we aren't even playing Webster ball atm.

- Poor tackling/first contact
- Poor discipline
- Poor kick chase

Team appears to have hit a wall, and Webby is trying to patch work his way out of it with busted veterans as he did in 2024.
Yeah I agree. We couldn't execute the plan.

The same plan we executed all season to get to the top four.

It is not the players, it is not the coach, the Warriors have lost too many key personnel that Webster rightly created a unit out of.

We will not be a lot better until Egan comes back.

We need two fit Centers so that Capewell can go back to being a motivating force in our kick chase, and we need Berry to lead the pace of that chase.

We need Metcalf at six to open up our attack.

We need Barnett to support JFH leg speed fast ruck play game style.

We need a winger to give Webster realistic defensive options.

Put all those things in place and Websters choice of players is fine, no one is too old, no wall.....

And we need to stop with this next man up bullshit, it is fine in principle and as a guiding metaphor but it is complete bullshit to pretend that a NSW cup player does not bring massive down sides because of the loss of experience in your team.

I believe in the next man up, just not the next five or six men up all at once.

We have prob got less injured players than most sides.
Dont accept injured players as a reason for poor performance /rotation/game plan,.

It is not about the numbers of personnel. Too easy to be flippant about losing your Dally M leader, then your fringe NSW hooker, Your NSW Prop forward.

This is the Warriors not some Aussie club that can quickly do some local horse trading to fix personnel issues mid season.

So if you think Websters game plan is wrong, then what is your position on getting rid of Webster?

Agree with you about the quality of our injured players.
Webster is still learning how to manage the replacement situation and last night should be a big wake up call for him.
Capes TMM Marata and Healey especially need to be handled better
For me I would have Marata starting at 10
Healey at 9 or 14 depending on Egan being available
Capes to second row and cover for centre only if needed.
Tmm either fullback or back to cup.
Surely with the success of the cup team we have a couple of outside backs that can be promoted. Every other team does it.

Our Wingers and Centers outside of Pompey cannot tackle (not including Roger he is an ex fullback).

Bringing in new blood wingers will worsen the situation, why? because they cannot tackle in the NSW cup either.

As for handling the replacements and rotation etc etc, I stay out of it because since Webster came along my private and sometimes posted musings get proven wrong time and again by Webster because what do I know really?

We do not have the big picture, we do not have the overview, we do not have the inside look at what happened at training when these ideas were already tried I am sure.

I'm not of the wholesale changes ilk, I feel I stare pretty clear of that side of things.

But do what makes sense.

CNK at centre, whether that be left with Pompey on the right which I'd prefer, or CNK on the right.

TT at fullback, let's Marata move back to prop, Capewell back to the left, and Leka/Laban sharing the right.

The whole CNK is fullback or bust is just really bad from Webby.

dolphins can and should be pushed around in the pack - their great strength this year has been katoa/nikorima + farnworth (or katoa/averillo + farnworth) with the hammer floating around in the vicinity -- we have to play to stop that, cos there's no team in the comp better when they're on

He can change his game plan change some players be less conservative
He can stay even though he has his learner plates on
As I said plenty of other sides have injuries to top players and don’t use it as a cover all reason

Thought Pomps actually shored up that right edge pretty well when moved there. Would be tempted to keep him there, Capes is clearly busted and hampered, which probably isn't helping Dals decision making. Is it time for EIT to come in and play on Roger's side? or is he exclusively 2nd row now? I thought Webby was all about 'Next man up' and NOT playing guys busted this season.
Exactly, I don't get Webby. He is a great coach in some aspects, but player selection of DWZ/Capewah together hasn't worked + so many players look injured. CNK looked so very broken. Bringing him back injured is not a good idea, as it only leads to more issues, especially when you have TT in place, or is he injured too?
I'm jealous of the Panthers played us with so many top players out still got the job done...I thought we had player depth ,.. NSW cup team kicking ass
