Tigers were the only team to bring a home game to NZ to thank us for the shit the club went through during covid, hope they go well!
Let’s just keep a low profile every game
And keep winning
Bank the 2 points every week
Make finals
Then it’s anyone’s game
If I take anything out of last nights game
We won first half easily
And just about lost the second half in a comeback
To be the champs
We gotta do it for full 80
No excuses
Soak it up
Enjoy the victory
Strive for 80 mins
Win this comp
Chur🕺🏻🥃

It was the last twenty for me, epic defense, just showed our resilience, can't get better, on the job training than that, young guys take a bow, Leka what a beast, The Healy family must be so proud watching there boy thrown in the lions den and coming out on top, ups for Webster having faith in him and his next man up process, it was exactly who we needed around the ruck at that time...

We looked in control mostly for the first half and first 50 minutes, but I was still worried they could easily come back and boy did they, Berry going down definitely shook things up, but we found a way... Best game of the season

Have to say, the Cowboys are a great attacking team and some of their tries were fantastic.

The first one where Drink water is hidden, before popping Nanai through a gap was fantastic. The Clifford chip to Derby was also a great try. Drinkwater was dangerous all night and looked like he was going to bring them home.

Even though we conceded 24 points, I think our defence was great, and we just kept turning up

Beautiful Sunday morning, a cool 10 degrees, the sun is shining, birds are singing, (I swear one of them said Up The Wahs!). Funny the effect a big win can have on life.

Maybe I need to get out more.

On another note, MG scored a try this morning in Leeds 17-4 win over St. Helens, apparently set up another with a kick. Haven't seen it yet and can't find it anywhere.

Just feels like we're in a good space atm.

Even the best wingers jam in at times and get it wrong. Think it’s a harder position than it gets credit for, but yeah he got found out and will be targeted so hopefully DWZ is fit. He’s also guilty of getting it wrong and jamming in at times when he needs to stay on his wing
IIRC it was Pompey who was rushing out of the line in the second half to try to put on a shot or an intercept. Did it a couple of times. His first-half try went to his head I reckon.

Crazy rule though. A player who is in the air retrieving the ball is vulnerable even if the ball bounced first. I assume this rule also applies to a player who is airborne when diving for a try in the corner.

From memory the corner try situation you mentioned was one of the main reasons why it is this way. (According to some journo panel)

I mean, bombs make sense because of the angle and frequency. Would most players in TTs position be as vulnerable? Also, how frequently do we talk about situations like this?

It sucked to concede a try off it, but I wouldn't put that on the officiating.
