Matty Johns is better known for his media career at this pt. Probably the most photogenic media personality, much more likeable than his immortal brother.
Comes across better than Andrew and the 20 minutes of silence Andrew gave to whatever game it was last week because he didn't like the sinbin - whether he was wrong or right - wouldn't have done his public popularity any good.
Like every ex-player, he gives his ex-team more airtime, or teams he doesn't really like less airtime than is strictly professional, but I can live with that.
We'll have to wait for It's Princess Time with SJ The Elder before the Warriors get the attention they deserve, I think.
Yes I think KOSI could really grow from he performances this year ..what I don't get is his size and speed he doesn't seem to want to hit the line ...imgine if he was like DWZ or Monty 24 who would run kamikaze hard runs into the line ...(clark does amazing hard) or really any of the warrior wings of old Manu .KEN ..Fish etc

TT well his size doesn't help ..every run into heavy D he got into RAGDOLL backwards he would be better most of the time just dropping on the ground

30-26 with 15mins to go…. momentum 100% with the cows after 3 tries - two from fukey kicks….
For the team to hold for 15mins after wave after wave of attack…… that second half frantic defence by the warriors was EPIC… no idea how we didn’t choke
CNK losing the ball on the first and Leka dropping to give the cows a repeat set, Metcalf not making 10m from the in-goal…. Boys made it harder than it needed to be…
Healey coming on as fresh legs was just what the doctor ordered. Dummy half runs to relieve pressure, critical tackles up the middle, that catch and kick which nearly scored us a try.. so many good moments in the last 15’mins…
And Hats off to Metcalf for that corner try saver on Taulangi
So many good movements to discuss knowing we WON

That's what I'm liking about this 2025 incarnation of the Warriors - they aint chokers.
Next 8 weeks will set up where we are at. A lot of away games, not easy and the 2 byes. Win more than 60%, finals and a decent crack aren’t out of the question.
Still think we are a few key players away from achieving that elusive trophy. The Matt’s boys are showing how it can be done. After today, the future is bright

Will be too small. They looking at like 28-30k capacity last I heard.
Tigers by 2. Broncos by 2. Cowboys by 4. We may not appreciate it now but these 3 wins will probably define our season. All three games we lose last year. It's probably the difference between being edge 8 and being a genuine chance of top 4/5 which we seem increasingly likely of being in the mix for as each week goes by.

Berries injury was 100% the momentum swing. Not just because of the reshuffle either. He led our line speed and kick chase all night. We regrouped eventually but his ability to consistently make a strong tackle after a kick can’t be underrated.
The issue came from Niukore having to move to the edge, his lateral speed is shot. Which kept creating overlaps. Don’t get me wrong, I thought Niukore was very strong in the middle before moving to the edge. Definitely where his future is.
Optimism level is very high with players due back shortly.
