Pick Your Team Warriors v Cowboys - [Round 9, 2025]

Egan has been killing it in the grade above though. Wonder if it's partially cause Healey is putting a bit of pressure on to play well though Egan has been going pretty well until that elbow injury last year.
I suspect Healey will be more explosive out of DH than Egan, could blow games right open!

I wonder how you could play both at the same time?

Add another hooker on the bench and rename the team the the NZ Brothel.
Nice.

And if we get invited back to Vegas, the New Zealand Hoors (pronounced "Hoo-ers", tap into the Sopranos Fans & Rugby League Fans Venn Diagram spot)

Same team as Friday's. I see no need to rush anybody back. CHT or TT doing the kicking. I know 4/4 isn't a huge sample size, but something's got to change there.

Question: If Egan makes Origin this year, is it a straight swap for Healey who sounds like he's going pretty good in Cup? Do we select him and play him for the full 80, or do we need to have someone like Lussick starting and playing big minutes?

Looks like Origin 1 is 3 NRL games away, so I wonder if we're maybe going to start looking at this from this week, as ideally if we are going to have him starting or playing big minutes without Wayde then he should be getting a few 20-30 minute games before that

  5. DWZ/TT
  6. Metcalf
  7. Boyd
  8. Niukore
  9. Egan
  10. Barnett

  12. Capewell

  14. Healey
  15. Vaimauga
  16. Laban
  17. Ford

For me I’d like to see Boyd come in and run the attack. CHT has done nothing wrong, I just feel he’d be the one to drop out. Metcalf can still do his thing and we’d have a goal kicker and game manager in Boyd.
Pompey doesn’t fit into a healthy team, it is what it is.

I think Healey can be used as both a backup to Wade and cover 6, 7, 13 at a pinch.
I’d start to decrease Niukores minutes and increase Laban and Vaimaugas.
Capewell is a weird one but he seems like he’s warmed into the season, still a bit to offer.

Once RTS and JFH are back I really like the look of the teams youth and veteran mix.

Boyd can come in but not at chanels expense, he doesn't deserve to be dropped after last week's performance.

Why would you play a prop at hooker? ;)
