Team List Warriors v Broncos - [Round 7, 2025]

At least with Taine at fullback and riki back, he can run him for some free yellow cards for high contact. Especially if it's a little wet.

Although we do have badger in the bunker for this game and butler our stastically worst ref, so who knows what will happen.

I'm picking either Morgan or Healy will make their Wahs debut this weekend.

I can't see how we play both Taine and TMM in the wet. We need bigger bodies to help grind Broncs down, we could see a battle of the worst centres in the game out there, in Harper V Shibbiaski lol.

Either Morgan to half and Capewah to the bench, or a straight swap in TMM for Healy.

I get the need for strong carries from our back 3, but hopefully Taine and TMM channel Lance Hohaia in the wet and use their quick feet and low centres of gravity to hot step the big bodies bogged down in the mud. We just need the ref to carry us down to the Broncos end more often than is the norm.

I have concerns with this game as I believe the Broncos will run around us with speed.
I’d start with TMM at 1, TT and Kosi on the wings ( never thought I’d say that), Pompey and Ali in the centres with the usual halves .
We will need our forwards to stand up and make a statement against some of the best players in the world. Our middle defence needs to be flawless .
We need to do what we did against Manly a month or so ago at Mt Smart.
It’ll be wet so hopefully Brisbane don’t run wide.

I truly believe that every game we play we need to go into it expecting to be fucked by the ref. We barely get any 50/50 calls as it is, so I really don't think a good strategy would be to hope the ref gives us more 6 again/penalties than usual

AW has been all about minimising changes.
This line up proposes slot of changes.

For that reason, TMM to FB, Pompey back to Centre. Capewell back to 2nd Row, Bunty to start. The bench as per. 🤞🏾

I agree with this, but if that's the case it's a pretty shit strategy to tell Halasima he's starting his first ever game only to take it away from him and hour before kickoff
