General Warriors SG Ball 2026

I arrived at the field just before half time of this game. I haven't seen the first half of this game.

Really happy with the win. Goal line defence is still a worry though. Couple Roosters tries I saw were very, very simple barge overs. Only took a couple tackles to crack too. You could tell what was about to happen, but just couldn't stop them. Roosters looked like they were going to run us down near the end because of this compounded with a couple Warriors handing errors when we did have the ball.

I saw three pretty poor reffing calls right in front of me, including a missed try that was clearly grounded by Neal, Warriors player passing to a teammate that was standing dead from kick off to start second half, and a set restart to Roosters from a "touched" kick that clearly missed our player. I know it's not NRL but those were three pretty horrible calls right in front of me within a couple minutes.

The uniforms were almost identical too which was tough to watch.

Regardless, well done both teams today. Good both teams are on the board now.

Anyone had any issues getting into Bar TV today?
Firefox gives me "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." message...

Looks to be another tough day at the office for the SG Ball side. They've now lost a fair few players to our Flegg side, and the Bulldogs team has a few guns, but discipline has been poor. Down 20-4 at half time.

We can't keep all of our juniors, but I still feel like Kaawyn Patterson will be one of the ones who got away.

Final score 50-4.
The size and leg drive of Vaaga off the bench (debut?) was one of few positives in the second half. Ratcliffe gave it heaps as always, but disappointing the other boys didn't match it this week, especially with Radcliffe having the captaincy.
