That to me is the biggest sign that he’s not conservative but selects the team based on whatever reasons? We’re not there all through the training and behind the scenes to understand the selection choice and you have to trust the staff are making the right decisions for the overall betterment, which I do based on everything I’ve seen so far

I'm talking about dropping out of form players, his favourites, making tough calls instead of painting himself in to corners with statements like RTS is playing center or CNK is the fullback. I haven't seen any of that unless forced to through injuries and lack of available options. Hell, he couldn't even do what he said they were going to do with managing Egans game time this season.

Looking forward to seeing if that changes this next season. Is anyone expecting any real changes to the team list apart from replacing whoever is injured?

A legendary NRL winger and the current Warriors coach who has improved our overall performance in the competition. Literally didn’t see one person picking Metcalf at 7 this time last season and it was a master stroke, and seems the logical choice when hearing Brian Fletcher so impressed of his communication and encouragement on the field with the players and his leading the dally m’s emphasises that he was the right choice. The conservative approach would have been to go with Boyd as the 7 being that’s where he’s played a majority at. Don’t think many saw CHT either but they complimented each other I thought. I think backing CNK was about shutting down the inevitable will RTS go to fullback chat straight away and any position on the field was probably a big ask in his first season back. Again, we’re not privy to all the factors as to why he selects who he does and I’m sure he’d be the first to admit he doesn’t always get it right

TSS/EIT over Bunty and Ale? Investment in youth?

Bunty played very few games the last two seasons in top grade, basically a depth NSW cup player. And Ale is only 26, I'd love to know the background on his non selection this year after playing a good number of games in previous seasons - seems a bit strange to me.

Note, I didn't say Cuddle's couldn't make decisions. Just don't think he has made necessary tough ones without being forced to.
