A few individual errors cost us. A missed tackle, a mis step, a slightly forward ball but yeah, you cant be too upset at that.

If that doesnt give the boys confidence that they can win the big one, I dont know what will. Absolutely pushed them and they were almost perfect.

Ironically, one of the more complete performances ive seen from us

Couple of dodgy calls, couple of smarter finishers....couldve wouldve.

Thought we had our chances in the first half.

Said before win or lose this isnt a season defining game......might not have come away with the biscuits but we're a genuine contender this year

Hats off to Sutton and the bunker who can pick the tip of a fingernail on a little pinky touching a ball.....u guys are wasted in your career choice.....should be doing eye laser surgery

Awesome effort boys. I think there will be lots of improvement after this loss.

Just one strategic choice I question is bringing Niukore on the edge, he’s so slow moving across and he looked gassed after 5 mins. Thought Fats should have come on and been given a go.

That was a really good second half. Only 3 sets incomplete all game against the top side.

I can only nit pick Lofi. There was a chance he could have burnt his man on the outside he chose not to. He rushed out of his wing to attempt to block Edwards for their try. Then he wasn't there for Labans pass after penrith scored.

Otherwise I'm not too disappointed but I do think we lack kick meters when we come up against a good pack. Hurts me to say it but maybe it's Metcalf time in round 15.

Quality game by both sides. Pretty even contest. High completions, high intensity. Could've easily gone our way

Niukore is an absolute spud. Incredible how such a big bloke can have such little physicality.

We had to win that game, they didn’t even have Cleary, Yeo, To’o. I don’t think Barnett and Capewell, make a difference in the outcome of that game.

If Roger plays that game we win. He hustles and tackles Alamoti at least 1 of his tries, and he scores where Pompey couldn’t, he’s a huge loss

As shit not to be but proud of the boys to put up a fight, could’ve gone either way and we showed we are a team to be in the conversation with the big boys. We got under the top teams skin and had them uncomfortable for long periods

Great game, disappointed obviously but very proud and solidifies the belief.

Quick observation. AKP needs to be significantly more visible with breaks, he is MIA when his speed is needed.

We played our hearts out and the refs were heavily against us in this game but we did some stupid stuff at crucial moment. We could have won this 13+.

Obviously Pompey has to go. We won't win anything with him at centre. Takes the line on every single time, even with there are 3 players on him and AKP is outside in space. And he is too slow to take advantage of any half gaps. I've never been so frustrated with a player in my life and I can't imagine how AKP feels playing outside him.

That game was there for the taking but there are positives to take out of it. We need to fine tune some things and make a couple of crucial lineup changes and we can win the premiership.

That was a high quality game and we left tries out there.

As much as I always want us to win I get the feeling that was a good one to lose. Gives us a kick mid season that tells us we still need to improve.

Thought Taine was our player of the match, TSS not far behind.

A few moments our way or a bit of luck and we could have got them.

We definitley belong with the big sides.

The game deserved the hype. last week against a side down the bottom which is typically a banana skin game we performed. This week with the focus on us. In the past we'd faulter. This side stood up and took it to them.

Yeah we finished the game with Ford and Niukore in the second row. I don’t think the bench use was great unfortunately. TSS has gone to the top of the class in terms of the young guys

Good for depth. A solid journeyman that average teams need.

His slow PTB's piss me off so much. Dude is just way too casual, always running in 5th gear. Doesn't align with the intensity JFH and Erin are trying to bring.
