General Warriors NSW Cup 2026

Looks like we have found our ball playing center.

Someone is going to have to move out for him, either Pomps, or Roger or most likely he is gonna take Ali's Jersey.

He is a skinny little thing but he is really wiry (good leg drive for his size in the hit ups). Obviously he is faster than Roger and Ali.

Typical half playing wider, ball out in front, looking for support runners or flying up in support of a break (your dream center really).

Defence has been ok but as you know it is hard to tell in NSW cup (better than Ali anyway).

You can see why Cappy thinks he is a star.

As you can probably tell I am VERY excited.
I think he’d be wasted at centre. He’s the perfect fullback, and he’s actually bigger than I thought.

Even the commentator cocked up names ten times so anyone making assumptions on bar tv coverage can get waylaid led astray but due to the coverage it’s a not guilty plea accepted and granted.

People just don't understand the value of a center anymore.

The guy scored twice and set up a Try.

If that is wasting someone's attributes them I'm gonna chuck it in and go support darts.

Mal Maninga is an immortal.

World class centers are incredibly rare, and even rarer today because ball players are becoming too thinly spread to afford sparing one for the three quarter line.

The hallmark of a team that is going to win a GF is a team that has one world class center (at the moment that guy is Casey Mclean, in the past that guy has variously been names like Manu, Lyon, Inglis, Mitchell, Maninga Gaznier, Renouf etc and if you look at losing Grand Finalists you will find names like Toopi and other great centers that carried the wide attack of the great attacking NRL sides).

The Warriors are in the very rare position of finally having enough playmaking junior stars to afford one world class wide running half/center hybrid.

Fats probably debuts next week and Linnane probably fast track to be ready for No.20 later in the season…

Hopefully a debut for fats, no better team to come in and debut against then the dragons at the moment...although they looked up for it last night against the panthers for the first half.
On linanne though...gosh he looked fit and firing, wonder if he keeps getting reps in at centre? Have to be thinking about getting him sometime in fullback...needs the ball in his hands!
