Next month it'll be 2 years since he's completed 3+ NRL games in a row.

That's pretty damning.....he'll need some games in cup anyway as we now have two incumbents until injury or form say otherwise. Good chance for him to get back into game shape.

I am interested to see how his shoulder go, Benji had recurrent dislocations and he ended up with a long career after the operation, fingers crossed Berry can do the same then we would have 2 centres in their early to mid 20s ready to rock next year

He really needs to play a month of cup before being considered cuz he literally pulled a hammy for being match unfit last year on top of the shoulder issues

Yes Benji and how about Jonathan Thurston? It can be done. It's strange, some players who are injury prone in their younger years, as they mature seem to get more injury resistant with age.....maybe they strengthen up the weaker areas of their body, maybe they know their limitations better but it does happen.

For another sport, Grant Hill is a great example......injury plagued in his mid 20s and early 30s and then became a bit of of ironman playing the full 82 game NBA season at 37.

It can happen, not everyone is Ben Henry.....let's hope Rocco can turn it around.

Ben Henry has probably had more games, albeit in Fox Memorial, than Berry has had in recent years.

Rocco has been class whenever he's been available imo.

Benry was dreadful towards the end, even when he was fit enough to get on the field

This has been a long lay off for Rocco though so hopefull he can get up to speed quickly.

while webby probably already has a plan, i think a lot will depend on this week - pretty poor record in anzac games, can CHT have a blinder in his 100th game?

with taufua being on the ext bench this week making me think they want healey to have some cup time, i could see CHT/tanah staying next week with metcalf either bench or cup, but following the bye chanel being dropped (much to my sadness) to 14 rather than extended bench to keep luke happy but this is me being negative probably!

much to ponder, but the longer CHT stays unsigned makes me more nervous for next year, tanah too

I think Pomp’s going into NSW cup has set the scene
I would hope after our most reliable senior player is brought back via NSW cup that Metcalf returns via NSW cup
