Speaking to Sport Nation's Scotty & Izzy, George said contract extension announcements are imminent for Tanah Boyd, Te Maire Martin, and Chanel Harris-Tavita.

Great news for the club.

Here's the article.

Edit: I missed it, due to skim reading; but Metcalf is allegedly back in Sydney...

"With Metcalf now reportedly heading back to Sydney, it's remains unclear whether coach Andrew Webster will promote him back to the starting line-up in Boyd's absence on Saturday against, coincidentally enough, his new team."

Thanks for the heads up bro.

And thank you Chief executive officer for giving us all some clarity so we can sit back and enjoy the rest of the season.

Especially grateful to Cameron George for this unprecedented early clarification since this is very un Warriors like to be so up front about our intentions before it is official (at best you usually just get a "we are in frequent talks which is typically vague and understandable with players that have external interest like Chanel).

And the timing is very astute by George, Warrior nation is hurting after the last few weeks when we should be basking in the glow of knowing we are the second best team in the competition on the ladder and on the park. We have not been this close since 2002 (not talking about finals, I'm talking about building a team that everyone knows is one of the best in the comp).

Also appreciate Cameron George clearing up the ten day cooling off period.

Cheers bro, greatly appreciated, seeing it in print is such a dam relief.

I think the report's trying to say he's heading back to Sydney next year

I'd say Tanah for 3 years as reported, CHT for at least 2 years and TMM on a 1 year deal. All giving time to Linnane and Cleary to develop. I'd say Hansen is the guy who may well go to the Titans for an opportunity (as rumoured) if we are signing all three. That's fair enough for him as we can't keep them all.

Also leaves a spot open in 2028 for a certain other Cleary should wish to come to play with his brother for a season or two - assuming Jett stays in AKL.

Next up on the re-sign list (once these are done).... Jackson Ford and Sam Healey...

That’s a bit tough. Is he cutting your lunch or something?

Billy's screenshot alone was better info than a long time youtuber with a large following lol, I expected him to do his homework for his content. I defend him like half of the time lol, other posters crap on him way more

I think our posters are better readers than Warriorholic lol
I think he's right though this time. Chanel was close to signing a one-year. Had said so verbally. We know Tanah is too. I remember somewhere last year said that Te Maire was happy getting one year extensions for as long as he can. We'll see.
