I worry that Ratcliffe is not a big guy, obviously young, although there are notably smaller fullbacks.

When I say I worry I mean his debut is probably further off rather than closer.

Hmmm....Ratcliffe looks like a solidly built kid. And hasn't he been listed at 181cm? Still a little bit of growing to do as well.

Kaian Olsen is only small. But he is very young.

I personally think Ratcliffe is not that far away from first grade. Awesome work ethic, solid defender. Speed & good under the high ball.

I would have him at FB in cup ahead of Doyle.

There is really no other reason for Doyle to hold that spot, it is not like we prioritize winning NSW cup comps like John Acklands era anymore (otherwise we would have retained Bunty and Ale and Going).

Im struggling to see Pomps and CNK fit in past 2027 tbh.

Were going to be blessed with a lot of depth next year, and while those players will struggle to get many games, it only takes 2 or 3 injuries and most teams would be fucked, where as we can bring in Pomps or CNK....I think thats going to be one of our strengths next year too

Yeah I think speed is what wins out, and that’s why I think CHT won’t be our 6 going forward as it’s transpiring. I think they would have liked Metcalf 6, but he wanted the 7 jersey

I’m glad many on here aren’t in charge of our salary cap with Boyd on marquee money after a good start to the season being not in great demand prior and our young guys picking up big salaries without playing consistent footy yet
