McFadden has pretty much taken the head of football role. As just before he came back here Craig Hodges was the general manager of football who he directly replaced. But i guess because his role is general manager of recruitment and development. Maybe there is room for a Gould style culture and standards role?

If Webster and McFadden can see value in it while making sure cleary doesn't over step like gould famously does. Then fuck, would that not be awesome? And surely it would allow room for him to still do rep football coaching.
