The signing of Tanah Boyd is fantastic. I hope he keeps the from up and progress shown. It is a credit to the club and him.

I would ask CHT for a decision asap. If its not favourable lock up TMM for 12 months.

LM. It is confirmed his management has asked for a meeting with the club to discuss his future. This is a reaction to something we are not privy to. Lets not make judgement. As he is still a Warrior. Tannah resigning may change the situation. All will come clearer over the next few weeks.

Just had coffee with my Bulldogs contact. They are after Tanah Boyd but may even settle for Metcalfe. Matt Burton appears to be the one that is surplus to needs.

Came across this on eels LU forum. With Boyd seemingly committed, perhaps bulldogs becomes an option for Metcalf? He won’t be lacking options
Can’t see this being too true with Mitch Woods arguably NRL ready as soon as he sorts his Hammys out.

Bulldogs seek expert specialist for young stars troubled hamstrings

He is expected to make his NRL debut sometime this year.

Rising Bulldogs star Mitchell Woods is continuing to suffer from soft tissue concerns in both of his hamstrings across the early stages of the season.

The young playmaking talent hasn't been on the field in any grade this year as he battles setbacks originating from an injury in the preseason.

The Bulldogs have sought Justin Lang, a strength and conditioning specialist, with the Daily Telegraph reporting that he will help aid Woods and find the cause of the ongoing problems.

Lang has worked with elite athletes such as the UFC's Rob Whittaker and former NRL star-turned-boxer Paul Gallen.

Woods is earmarked as the club's long-term half alongside Lachlan Galvin, and the Bulldogs will no doubt take as many precautions as possible before rushing him into first grade.

The number of setbacks for the young halfback is drawing concern, which may indicate an underlying issue in his biomechanics.

Manly superstar Tom Trbojeivc has also had a decorated history with hamstring injuries, which saw him travel to the USA to meet with Bill Knowles, world-renowned reconditioning specialist.

Woods was named the 2024 player of the series in the SG Ball competition, along with representing the Under-19s NSW Blues last year.

The 19-year-old missed all the trials in the preseason and has continued to be sidelined with three separate injuries across both hamstrings this year.

With the Bulldogs currently struggling with their attack, many fans are eagerly anticipating his arrival in the NRL to help steer the ship at Belmore

They might be looking at Metcalf in the meantime to prepare for life with a halfback with hamstring issues

On the CHT to PNG rumours:

1 - CHT hated the Covid isolation camp situation so much he left the game for a year. I don’t think he will want the compound situation

2 - Money - he turned down a years wages by taking a break. He came back cheap to play again. I don’t think moneys a driving factor for him.

Unless he wants some sort of Samoa vibe in PNG, I can’t see him going there.

I love how he marches to his own beat, doesn't appear to be swayed by anything, that's values and integrity. I couldn't even see him wanting to play against us.

Take it with a pinch of salt and Feel free to believe this or not, but I am pretty closely tied in with someone involved with Perth Bears. They are not chasing him. Whispers are that Metcalf is “hard work” And his attitude around certain things isn’t great and the warriors would be very comfortable if he left, short of saying they want him out.

Basically if he leaves at this point you can safely assume it is with Webby and Cams blessing.

If true I’d just Dylan Walker him and use the cap on others on the market to bolster our weak spots (backtrack roger at centre 😂). Sounds like AFB is still fresh in their mind. He gets to play 7 and close to family for the bubs and maybe even big exposure in Sydney media and we bolster our winning squad, win win.

Is there a player transfer deadline for June?

Assuming this is all real, and not one of the funniest moments in warriors signing history. What do we think he has signed for if metcalf was at 900k?
Just for the hell of it, I will start the bidding at 850k a season.

Could have got a mil if he had more road miles in form. anything under eight hundred is an insult for your three year half back in this market. A veteran decent back rower gets 700 up.
