Yes, but Aus tax residency applies to foreigners in Aus or Aus citizens in foreign countries. It doesn't apply to foreign citizens in foreign countries.

He is NZ citizen and not Australian citizen so he wont get the exemption. He would need to change citizenship to get that exemption.

He may only be a year by year proposition, remembering he did walk away from the game for 12 months

Whispers are that Metcalf is “hard work” And his attitude around certain things isn’t great and the warriors would be very comfortable if he left, short of saying they want him out.

Basically if he leaves at this point you can safely assume it is with Webby and Cams blessing.

Pretty sure we would have figured that out before upgrading him to marquee status, still didn't stop us. The Bears would take him in a heartbeat if he became available!
