Niukore, Capewell, TMM, CHT & Rocco likely gone along side of Barnett and RTS who have are already leaving for 27. Means we will see this young talent the club is building filter to the NRL level next year.
We must have a massive amount of cap space available next year. likely we are losing 4 of our top 5 or six earners next year in capewell, niukore, RTS and Barnett. Assume it's been distributed to the young guns plus a little here and there for WW etc.

RTS has earned a comfortable retirement and hefty payday to end his career. He came over when everyone told him that it would be career suicide and has been instrumental in guiding us through some of our darkest years. Would have been painful to see him front up for another NRL club but I'm more than happy for him to finish up in Japanese Rugby or the UK super league. He deserves to end his time here as a prem winner: I hope we do this for both Barney and RTS this year.

Have to remember that Metcalf extension starts in 27 which is 950, Tuapiki has been extended and his deals kicks in 27, plus we want to extend Boyd which means his deal with us will be double. But yes there should be money to re-sign Clark & Ford for 28, thanks for Barnett asking for an early release or we would have had some cap issues without that.

Funny. I was thinking about the RTS situation last night. He is a club legend and is playing about as good as ever, so deserves to retire as a Warrior. However, the club has/is moving away from being a retirement village and hanging onto players too long. Maybe we could get away with extending RTS for 1 more year, but with the stock we're building up in the backs, what does 1 more season of RTS actually give us?

The worst thing (for me) would have been RTS going to another NRL club and finishing his career against the Warriors. If the Super League news is true, then I think that is the perfect outcome for all involved.

RTS, allegedly signed with R360 and now looking at extending his career by signing elsewhere.

I'm other words he had chosen to sign for big money but that fell over and in the midst of the situation the warriors plan for a future without him.

Makes a whole lot of sense but fans will always want to have the cake and eat it too..

Hopefully we win the grand final with him this season and the the next 5 back to back with the next man up!!

If TMM is let go, CHT will be extended. He is our utility. Such a good club man too. I think he will excel in that role and play his natural game.

Capes likely one year and may go PNG tax free after that.

Dallin will stay a year and may go end of 2027 - sees legit.

We have to blood more of the young ones but we can’t lose all that leadership in one go.

Man we have a squad with Anderson coming in alongside Warbrick.(both TBC).

Jye Linnne is the forgotten man… this kid could play fullback….

Given CHT has been available to sign elsewhere for 27 since last November, I hope he would stay as wouldn’t a deal by another club be done and announced by now ? I’ve said before I find it really strange that there’s been zero talk of other clubs looking, no low quality media articles making stuff up about him leaving, and nothing from the warriors camp about his contract- journalists not asking in pressers etc, is that not weird? I know he isn’t the flashy headline grabbing star and tends to fly under the radar though..

Probably keep Dallin if so many are leaving, he's been really good again this year and other outside backs aren't exactly screaming for selection, if they're healthy

Extend CHT for 2 years for the utility role and 1st drop 6, Boyd/Metcalf/CHT trio in their prime could be amazing behind this pack. CNK transitions towards centre, TT and Linnane can rotate for FB. If Jett/Tia/Thompson suddenly going beast mode in 27 or 28 and outplays CHT we can always move him on, depends on Healey's situ as well and Metcalf's health. Inch probably have to try out FB eventually, Aussie grown up halves are stacked, they'd know the game better than a union kiwi kid who just started
