Recruitment Warriors 2026/2027 Recruitment & Retention

I would be gutted for us if this meant that Roger missed out on the whole of 2026 (hoping with an October start date it means that he could play the whole NRL round robin at least), but hard to argue with that.

Getting paid a mill for 6 months a year, getting to see a fair bit of the world too. Would be pretty enticing I think

We definitely need one more year out of him for sure. But you could see why he would jump at it especially if its huge guaranteed money over multi year.

It's going to be a bizarre competition though...

Crosby and Ale aren't in the long term plans as we build towards what we hope is a premiership challenging roster.

Panthers are already in that windows so a cheap established experienced forward like Ale makes sense.

Crosby would be enticing for a lot of clubs on potential, but he's clearly down our pecking order. Best of luck to him.
Crosby could be Liam Martin 3.0. More powerful, much faster and a smart kid. Obviously gasses out because he's full of fast twitch fibres so development is essential. It is probably the best place for him, I could see him there, or the Storm or potentially Canberra.

So he was doing society a favor.

Western weekender confirms Toby Crosby signing which i think is awesome ....could be anything .

Toby Crosby to panthers confirmed by the looks of it
theyre gonna turn him into a superstar aint they.... the great white hope i was hoping for, im brown by the way:)

He’s probably changed to league at a good age to give it a go. When you look at the likes of Leo and Tyrone Thompson, Leo probably switched at the right time but Tyrone potentially too late
i hope he does good, obviously a lot of work needed, if uncle Ivan sees something in him he might get a good NRL player, and we might get another up and coming Kiwi.... unless hes part Tongan :D
