There’s a bit of talk that Reuben Garrick won’t be offered another contract by manly. I’ve got real concerns for Berry and his career with how he’s picking up serious injuries constantly. If we were able to pick Garrick up for 2026, that would be ideal I reckon. Needs someone fit and to lead that kick chase that the right centre does and he kicks also

He’s willing to move far to Perth and he’s a new dad, would fit well in our environment baby growing up in daycare and kindy and return to Aussie for primary school, we should be able to offer him substantially more than his current deal but he needs to come next year since he’s 28.5 years old now

Luke is getting married in October so I am guessing the club will seal the deal this month as a nice little gift and let him focus on the event, the timing of the scoop fits too, good to hear he’s settled here

On SJ’s show he mentioned Queenstown as a potential venue, so NZ will always have a close place in his heart being where he was married and they had their first child if he in fact does get married over here. I reckon this is the guy to deliver us our first premiership, trick is going to be keeping him healthy

The consensus on their forum is that he’s after a payday with his age and his intentions not to get a deal done at manly but wants to go to market in November. Talk of bears or rugby 360 like so many will be linked to. Probably be unlikely to let him go for the 2026 that he’s contracted for?

Them putting him on the left before he he disappeared would indicate he will potentially replace Pompey at some point, be I really thought he looked so much better on the right in the early stages of the season. They’re being patient with Metcalf and his injuries so perhaps they do the same with Berry and look for a good depth centre and try ride out his unlucky run?

Is that Berry shoulder the same with the nerve issues? If so maybe he’s not ready for this year at all, probably no proper muscle reaction to keep shoulder in place, also two dislocations before 25 probably means he’ll have surgery…..which might keep it place properly I guess lol
