Greed. Brown and his agent are not the first, nor will they be the last to try get more money.
But this is not how most people negotiate with me in my business career, If you over negotiate you build resentment and that is not good for Brown or his agent in both the short and long run. I am having a real hard time seeing the logic in this, DCE is on $1M and he not worth more than him.
Nathan Cleary is on $1.2M and he seems to be saying he wants that sort of same pay.

I am a very logical person to a fault, I can't see the sanity in trying to get what Cleary gets by Brown and his agent.

Either way we can't lose, if his motive is to trigger his clause and come to the Warriors we get a gun half, if not, we dodged signing a one-dimensional 5/8 and sex offender, and we made the Eels pay crazy money. Look at it with your glass half full Wrighty

I am going to not say anything else tonight. I need to drink a cup of tea and chillax. I am very close to flaming Dylan Brown for his lack of sanity and narcisim that he rates himself as good as Nathan Cleary and wants the same pay. I don't think we or any one else in the NRL now wants Dylan Brown. He doesn't seem like his head is screwed on at all.

If we get him at 1.2 mill for 5 years and we win the comp, does that make greed good?
As if he is the missing piece between us and a premiership. He could hardly do anything when given the lead role in Moses's absence and somehow he is magically going to transform the Warriors to win the comp? lol

And there is a mysterious thing called a salary cap. Paying an average player 1.2m causes salary cap stress in other areas. Name me a premiership contender who would pay Brown that. That is the reason why they are premiership contenders.

So overhyped, already overpaid and his agent looking to inflate that even further and now fans licking at their lips on how that can become a possibility lol

Give the agent a bonus.

Is it because of the round 10 clause that he can field offers? Or that his management has shopped him to other clubs that means he can field offers now? With him able to leave in 2026, aren’t players and clubs only allowed to negotiate from November?

Hope he stays at Parra then, I'd rather give Jahrome the franchise contract than that greedy fraud and his Machiavellian manager.

If he doesn’t stick around there, I bet Isaac Moses will do some great work on behalf of his cousin Mitchell Moses to get as much as possible with how valuable he’ll become. Could see him get up around the highest paid for his potential last contract?

He’s got another option in 2027. Surely they’d want to remove that? Not sure if there’s more with him signed until 2031 with various options
Fair, but thats less than ideal for a 24yr top ten half. If the Eels crash and burn his stocks go down. They will be wanting a 6 year deal

Cheese as a middle forward sounds pretty good to me. Coming home and out of the bright lights might sort his shit out. The penny needs to drop soon. He’s one more bad contract away from a uk deal.
Think Cheese might be either a bit Blue and stink the place out or be a bit Swiss and be full of holes.

That's a No from me.

As for Brown: He's not showing any stickability with the Eels and the new regime. If he was asking for offers October this year, I'd understand that because he's had one season with Mr Ryles and Mr Brown and Mr Ryles just don't jibe after 12-13 months in each other's faces. But to want out this early...Never mind the "I want the Same Dosh As (Insert Half Who's Proved Themselves Worthy Of That Dosh)!" that apparantly he's giving out... Someone's a bit too full of himself, methinks.

I get that he's asking for 2026, as the story stays, but I bet he'd be more than keen for an immediate signing....

If Any more players are named that I don't want at the Warriors, Amy Winehouse's Estate might be after me for qouting that line from "Rehab". :)

And why'd we want that Nathan fella anyhow? It's common knowledge that the youngest child is the best one when they're in competition with their older sibling. Jett will reduce Big Bro Nathan TO TEARS in no time at all....

Moses had a win record of 3/10 at 30%
Brown had a win record of 4/15 at 26%

Eels won 7 games all year. They’re a terrible side, he’s probably over it

So Dylan might say "It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Failing To Make The Finals Again"...

Not sure what the NRL version of the Red Sea is, but Moses ain't parting it...
