He also becomes a 10 year veteran next season, does that give you a discount now?
He’s actually already eligible - 8 years at same club or 10 years in the NRL. We get $300k across the whole squad for veteran payments, so would only really help if one of the other veterans leave as I assume that $300k is already maxed out on Tohu, SJ, Walker, Capewell, etc.

The club could pay out more.

I was reading somewhere else about the Galvin situation and Moses came up. Someone mentioned Raiders don't have any players under his management and refuse to do any business with him. Not sure if we still have any players under him but I hope it's the same case for us and more clubs start doing that. Cut off the demand and players will quickly start looking for new management.
Moses is Webby’s manager

I'm surprised and happy that no one has raised the chance to sign Brandon Smith. My 2 cents - before someone suggests it - I think the love he has received by the media (never been a massive fan myself TBH) has gone to his head, in Melbourne he could keep his head down and go under the radar a bit, and Belly kept him on track. His game has gone backwards, is playing for twice the money he is performing too, and is apparently offside with the squad (I won't repeat the rumours which are out there about him). Everyone in the media is saying there must be more to the story, and I think that means those rumours have ground.

He's clearly at a crossroads in his career, if he doesn't mature and knuckle down (he's 28 now FFS), he'll end up at the Tigers for less money than what he is currently on.

Also I don't think he's a hooker, he's a Dylan Walker type bench player. Connor Watson delivers more at the moment on a third of his cost.

You are right.
The Cheese hasn't matured

I hope he comes to his senses and gets back to his best. His performances for the Storm and Kiwis have always been all effort and tough as nails, but this season for the Roosters its clear to see a drop in motivation. I was watching a recent game where Sam Walker was rushing up to the play the ball for a couple of tackles and thought he'd moved to hooker, but it turned out it was because Cheese was having a long breather. It looked really odd.

I made a long post about Moses - and just deleted it two seconds later as I won't to protect tajhay from him and a lawsuit.
I gave a long list of things Moses has done and will do if he even gets one player into the Warriors.
We must be vigilant and pass on any Moses player. It is necessary for the vital health of the club.
Never forget.

Yeah I wouldn't want Brandon Smith as he currently is right now. If he hasn't reached his potential under Bellamy or Robinson, and only a couple of years away from 30...I'd say a slow decline is in his future. Passing is sub-par, as is his kicking.

Our friend s on NRL 360 were discussing Mr Moses last night.
They mentioned a number of coaches who wont employ any Moses players
Ricky Stuart was one and a couple of others, didnt mention NZW -I think we dont either.
Allegedly (see that) Moses is causing issues at West Tigers again as per our friends at NRL 360
