You said there was no paths - there are a few imo
While my example is hyperbole, it's like saying Anderson Silva will make a comeback and win the Middleweight title. I'm allowed in this instance to say there are no paths for him to make it. You can argue of course there is, but that's not what anyone here would mean when they say there are no paths to the belt. It means there is no chance he can do all that and win.

It's like saying me saying No path for Brian Tamaki to be Prime Minister next election and you going oh, he has a chance, he could get 25% and then form a coalition with ACT and NZ First.

You give me a credible path for Izzy to get a title shot and I'll concede. I've already told you with lots of examples why he won't make it. No credible path to the belt means no path.

You're not Dana White.
Exactly what I detailed is credible & plausible right now.
You had a cry and listed no path. There are a cleary few.

Is it likely he'll be champ again... No.

It's not like Anderson Silva because 10 years older and not in the UFC.

The Brian Tamaki comparison - if Brian was a 2 time prime minister and popular - and the other candidates had no fans would have a good shot in an election.

Relax on the hyperbole.

UFC Perth is tanking in the ticket sales.
Only half sold out - which is really bad for UFC cards post covid.

Clashing with the AFL grand final, the cost of tickets and weak fight card seems to be the issue.

I read some real negative press around the Tafa brothers in the lead up

What’s the guys name and does he have any past convictions?
Doesn't matter over there. Seen a Swedish couple on youtube get detained , arrested, Held in prison for 3 weeks then deported. They were there to help Habitat For Humanity to build 14 houses in Louisiana. Clean record and all.
Apparently all they could think of is that they had support for Free Palestine post on their Facebook page.

On TVNZ getting the rights to the UFC.

I just saw an ad for it. I will admit I wasn't sitting in front of the TV at the time, just walking past. But it sounded like they said all events included UFC numbered events free.

I had to re-read the article I read earlier this year as it read they were still PPV.
Fans will be able later in the year to purchase TVNZ+ Event Passes for UFC Numbered Events.

Not sure if the traditional PPV events are still on Sky for now. I was going to watch one of the events a few weeks ago but got busy. Thought that was still listed on Sky. Might be wrong. I wasn't in a situation where I had to look/confirm.

If the bigger cards are free initially and then you have to pay it may annoy a few people. Other sports or organisations have moved off PPV and it's like cutting cable for streaming. Hard to go back.

The other intersting part will be if the events (all events including fight cards) stay on there like a library. Or end up getting moved off quickly. Similar to the sports on Disney+.
