I think Izzy played a good game but when he could have tried to go for the finish a few times, he didn't, he backed off and that's why he lost.
I don't think he has lost his skills, but his willingness to die in the octagon has gone. He needs to find that Izzy when he was fighting against Gastelum. He needs that Dan Hooker mentality.

It's interesting cause I had him up on the score cards watching live - but they released the score cards and DDP was up 2 rounds to 1 on all judges cards.
You could see Izzy was taking over and all the body work was paying dividends. DDP looks terrible but finds ways to win.
It's a bit sad really.

The motivation must be quite different when you are a multi millionaire and already so decorated. Although I thought Izzy would have a Costa performances here as it was so personal.
