Barring the last 10 minutes i thought that was a solid win and hopefully the team can build on this performance.

It felt like our gameplan was to play more expansive with our carries and not just relying solely on one out hitups; with that being said, it still seemed fairly controlled and deliberate rather than ad lib footy.

Having Berry back was massive and the kick chase and defensive line definitely benefitted from having him there - hopefully he pulls up all good.

Overall, I'm absolutely thrilled that the lads are back in the top 4 with 2 rounds to play; this season is in their hands and considering all of the injuries and disruptions that is an achievement in and of itself.

Up the faaarkin wahs!!!!

Agree on the last 10. I reckon they got ahead of themselves. The razzle-dazzle off loads nearly came off but twice they coughed up the ball and never quite got back to the same level intensity… and ended up looking a bit silly and a little bit disrespectful. But that’s as critical as I could go. Great win. Great to watch- who knew Tanah dreams of being running half?

Ieremia-Toeava played at centre in one of our trials and looked pretty good. I was hoping he'd debut as he could cover second row / centre.

Those are hard position to defend. But thought we'd see some minutes there due to injuries.

Instead he's been in the middle. That might be where they seem him best suited, or it could be to simiplify things.

Still crazy he was playing centre in the trials and didn't look off the pace.

Was really impressed with Tanah Boyd, one criticism would be pushing a couple of last tackle chips too far causing 7 tackle sets, one that shouldn’t have been but will be costly again top teams. His goal kicking and on field kicking is solid though. Nice to see him taking some runs in the last couple of weeks. Really have thought TMM’s defence has become really physical since taking on the utility role

Apparently Dez threw a tanty in the presser. I’m currently watching the other game, but can’t wait to see this….
I heard that and thought I'd listen to it.

3 minute press conference on the NRL site.

If it is what I watched he didn't go off at the refs. Said they were poor and made too many mistakes. Complimented us. Said Kini might start next week but they are slowly introducing him.

The closest he went off was at the end when asked about David Fafita.

Basically said this isn't the platform to answe that. He's signed for 2026 and this isn't the platform to talk about recruitment.
