result is an A+ but the actual performance was not great, they had 2 or 3? tries disallowed that were super close and our defence around the ruck when fish and barnett were off was horrific, id argue that if May's try was scored when they were up 24-18, theyd have probably ended up winning by 20

Under this criteria you basically never give it an A+

I gave A+ because I expected us to fold like we have in the past

A+ because we came from behind

A+ because of Halasimas unbelievable try

Most importantly

A+ because we won and get 4 points

Imagine if played the perfect game and lost
That’s two weeks of misery for everyone

What were your ratings for the Manly and Roosters games?

Imo the Manly win was up there as one of our top 5 wins in the last 3 years. And that wasn't even an A+ haha.

Sick.

I gave it a B, because I thought we can play better.

Why do you care?

Laban I can get on board with.
I like Ford though, he has got some punch this year and his clean up and off the ball work is first class.
Healy can't do the same as Ford but I wouldn't mind seeing him get some time somewhere
I think Ford has found his niche right at the moment. High energy 40 minutes from the bench.

Interesting that the other three on the bench hit roughly 30 minutes each. Has AW finally worked out that he has 4 on the bench each game?

People on here have been very critical of AW and his selections this year but I think he is still learning.
So far so good 👍
Might be a fast learner. Time will tell but I'm pretty satisfied for now 😌

I have just watched the replay and only half as smashed as last night.
That was a fantastic game of league.
The game evolves quickly at times and we are trying to play an enterprising attacking style and a brutal defensive style.
This comp is wide open.
The Leka try was started by Ed Kosi leaping under pressure to diffuse a bomb about 15 metres out.
TT might have had the next run and then maybe CNK.
Then Ali scooted left from dummy half and TT had rushed from the left to the right to make the overlap.
Perfect passes from Ali and TT.
Ford was insane in his new cameo.

Agreed, I would like to see Healey (or Lussick) on the bench giving him a 20min or so spell each game. Love Egan and what he is producing but from previous seasons we need him fit for the back end.
Wonder if Egan is just too important for this inexperienced halves combination at this point? Seems to be a leader on the field at present too. He’s a big factor in the wins we’re having
