He will get some big offers now that I don’t see we’ll be able to match
The club will
Have To make a call
Around Boyd vs CHT and also what they do with Hanson . TMM will go.
We now have depth.
We will have the cap space,

Don't forget the Warriors are about to see a lot of Cap space.

Barnett is and Marata's combined salaries will be north of one and a half Million dollars.

The club have multiple avenues for replacing them with cheaper pathways players (and you have to consider they have a lot of players on a bargain rate for what they do like Erin Clark.

We will have to upgrade some forwards though, like Jackson and Erin if they keep playing the way they are - so there is that. But out of those two Erin is arguably replaceable if money gets tight from within.

Dallin is also rumored to be on more money than he is probably worth (Warbrick is supposedly an inexpensive player in relative terms).

The cap is within our control, what we can't do is offer stupid money like the Perth Bears will.

Edit: sorry for being an echo chamber I posted then read the thread, I see Capewell and Roger being mentioned too, I left those two out because Roger is supposedly on bargain money and Capewell is the type of Veteran that we should try to hold onto with the loss of Barnett. We shouldn't trade SOO players that have defensive roles in this team willy nilly.

Boyd has been great in the first two games, but I thought he was incredible on Saturday just a dominant number 7 game. His confidence is growing every game and it’s showing.

That being said it’s still only three rounds in to the season. Metcalf isn’t back for around another three games. CHT was great in the first game and appeals as a good foil for either of them.

Let’s see how it pans out, it’s a good problem to have. If Boyd keeps playing in this manner and the team keeps winning it’s going to be hard to change things though.

You just have to love this discussion as a warriors fan. Here we are discussing whether we drop the form half of the competition for the half that was leading the Dally M last year before injury. It is great to be a Warriors supporter atm. I am going to enjoy this while I can.

In regards to who we play I think no matter what is decided Metcalf needs to get game time in FG. It is a long season and as last year showed we can get bad injuries for key players.

If CHT and Tannah become the top halves pairing after 6 games do you drop either for LM?

I say no

You have to ride that wave for all it’s got 🌊

Like will get his chance. The tide will change at some point. It always does.
We are going around in circles and it's awesome that every point someone makes sees us in good shape.

When Metcalf did his ACL last year it was quite gloomy with how Tanah was performing and our slight decline to finish 6th.
