There’s something deeply satisfying about being a long suffering supporter of a club that is now able to take a player with performance issues at the end of a season and turn him into the bloke everyone is talking about at the beginning of the next season, straight after having done the same thing, pretty much, the year before. Our training on attack, our recruitment selection, and of course our overall coaching: everyone involved is producing the goods.

Don't fix what's been working, until you have to. If that's the case Luke M can be 14 until if Panthers are beating us 20:0 and Tanah's melting like a cry baby, but if they're choking Ivan's boys then don't FAFO ourselves lol

Unlucky for CHT but i think if they bring metcalf in its got to be at 6 unless we see a total collapse of Tannah. That being said I think he should have a couple weeks at nsw cup, starting on the bench and then moving into a 80 minute role
 
If, "hypothetically" LM was available this week, this is the type of game I would probably give him a run..... at home with the Tigs missing a couple...... not at the expense of TB, but off the bench, maybe CHT spells Egan. One way or another we gotta fit him in eventually and there's no way I see him coming back through Cup, so someone's shifting somewhere! You gotta have your best 17 on the park and at this stage Tanah's got the 7 jersey for mine.

Been banging on about that too.

Unfortunately most didn't acknowledge the shift from his Newcastle nightmare to finding his mojo in the finals when it really matters against the best of the best.

If Luke Metcalf was available this is the perfect game to rest him,
No point in bringing in "supplementary" players to fix something thats already achieving premium success wait till Tanah boyd falls apart against the likes of the storm then let luke Metcalf help him back up.
 
Cronk says Boyd needs to continue keeping it simple and don’t start throwing rainbow passes, Metcalf needs a few weeks to get to where he was, and Matty said they’re probably thinking Boyd 7 Luke 6 CHT 14 and they can’t see Webby breaking Boyd’s heart and tell him to go back to cup. Might have said this combo will be dynamic?

This is probably one of the hottest topic in NRL lol

I can see we get squeezed by the storm and Luke being clunky af then he runs away with a freakish try to win the game and end the streak lol

Yeah the way we have started this season i can also see us demolishing the storm.
We will have to tighten up a little defensive frailty, but if we throw the ball around and run it straight with Barney and Jfh you can't really go wrong!
 
We've seen in 3 weeks that Boyd offers so much more than CHT in the halves, plain and simple. His kicking game is unreal (something we have missed for years), his ball playing at the line and organizing has been top notch. Sorry CHT, no way this man can be dropped for a dependable, solid 6.

Clubs are circling, the club will need to make a call on his future shortly. Be very interesting!

They’ll shower Ali’s edge, either he improves or we just move CNK there, and inside defenders lock down the channel of their famous inside balls and Hughes cut back runs and gang up on their FB I think we are sweet

Cht is still a very good quality player, who doesn't deserve to be dropped either, Chanel is coming into his prime year's he may have to change his position if he wants a Warriors contract but no doubt clubs will want him also.
