At the ground. 3 things.

1. DCE is having a nightmare
2. Chooks cannot handle our quick ptbs. Egan having a blinder. Chooks really lucky to not be down to 11 let alone 12.
3. CHT was very rusty at the beginning and two of his mistakes were very costly indeed. Probably lack of trial games.

No need to do anything frisky. Just keep running the ball out of dummy half and strangle the roosters out of this match. Next try scorer is crucial.

Someone said that Webby has taken the training wheels off.

100%

Can't help but think we are witnessing the evolution of the long-term plan.

Would not surprise me if Webby pitched to management that he needs two seasons to embed some non-negotiables.

Or...

We are seeing the evolution of Webby who having proven to be a master at improving players is also working out how to improve himself.

Both equally exciting

@sup42 I believe you were the poster that said pompey is going to have a breakout year. I see your vision and credit to you for believing while he was full of doubters or got written off as just a reliable centre.
I can confirm it was Sup who always backed him - fair play. I was not a fan but he's improved to the point where he's our number 1 centre in my eyes, really cut down his error rate.

RTS looks great again, think we'll get another good season out of him on that left wing making things happen and getting plenty of yardage.

Loving the energy and intent they've brought. a bit more ball playing and offloading by the looks. Like it.
Hope Teddy keeps up his incessant whinging to the ref… ref looks WELL over it lol.

I don't want to get ahead of myself as were half a game in....but Chanel is really making it difficult for all the new halves.
Big season last year, looks to be carrying on in the same vein.

No way, surely no way he has 40 try assists in 2 years, takes us to 5th in 2025 and in to the 8 this year and then dropped the next year. That's the absolute dream as a non dominant running half
