firstly,
erin clark is buy of the year.
so stoked to see him matured and back here playing his best football.

secondly,
ugly all round from our boys.
the young bucks gave it everything, and there was a couple of highlights, but it was a shitty afternoon all round really.

fuck it, still looking NICE on the ladder.

roll the broncos next week and get back on track.





anyway, wish me luck. i’m off to delete another 700 beers.

I hate Melbourne. But I have to give it to them. That was a professional display from a professional club. Until we can play like that game after game after game we're dreaming if we think we're premier contenders

JFH injury hurt us a lot - cost us at least a competitive performance

Ford binning caused the majority of leakage in points.

Pride restored second half somewhat - although Hughes was taken off, we lost CNK for the game and Niukore for 15 minutes

We need some starch in defence, Eli katoa’s 5 offloads to hand so easily, even Papenhyzen with some as well - that’s simply not good enough

Meh, look at the team sheets and the score line shouldn’t surprise you.
Just a couple things we need to fix up and that’s Ruck speed and offloads and players In motion.

Metcalf’s not a 7 and no hate to Charnze but he should go super league now.
Metcalf to fullback and Either Martin or Boyd into the halves

Move on, it's a long season. Injuries a real concern but Erin, Leka, Demitric and Ali give some reason for optimism.
