Pick Your Team Storm v Warriors - [Round 6, 2025]

If his missus really is due in the next fortnight, would assume they just take the same approach as we had with SJ in '23, wait as long as possible before getting him on the plane to Melbourne, and have him fly out ASAP.

It's not like we are winning because of Metcalf anyway, so if he misses the game simply as a precaution, so be it. If we get pumped without Metcalf there will be bigger issues to point at

If Berry is over his hamstring, it will be interesting to see if they go back to their original selection bring Berry in and moving Pompey out to the wing.

Or do they reward Kosi?
Defending on the wing against the Storm is tough going, and it will be another tough test after the conditions against the Tigers.

To me, this is the main selection point.

Then maybe the interchange spot opened up from Walker leaving. Afoa might just have been looked at as suitable for the Tigers game and an eye on the weather forecast. They could reward him with another game or look at the game plan and figure someone else may be better suited. Or they look at someone else to cover for injuries or HIA's.

Probably the original selection Pompey/Ali left, Berry/Taine right, I'd bring a Healey or TMM on the bench to prevent Storm/NAS from knocking one of our spine players into HIA, unless we've got a big body to nail NAS

Am blaming “HOLLIC” for his April Fools clickbait nonsense causing disgruntled disturbance within tha forum…..

Or!!!! We all just to sensitive bitches…..NAH MEAN…..
It was 100% his fault.

Guy seemed to get very excited by one random anonymous twitter account saying we might have a signing.

Melbourne are a special beast to us historically. But we have a bloke who knows how to play them without mental baggage and turn it into four straight premierships. Let's not over or underestimate the inclusion of JFH in our team. If we have any chance and I am saying we do, it will be because all of our young and old blokes are mentally prepared to go the distance with Melbourne who are an awesome benchmark to measure our progress against.

I agree that JFH has been a significant influence, thats is for sure... rumour has it that during the māori Indigenous game, he was whispering in the ears of Ponga and even Hues at one stage.... I wonder if there is any light to these rumours.

we all have all been guilty there, and that enthusiasm is not a something that deserves such derision.

Given our supposed mountain of cash and continual off loading of current players, you have to believe a big ass signing(s)is imminent!! Purely for perspective purposes, you would feel all other clubs in our current situation would feel 90% confident of a decent signing spree. Why can’t we also believe?

More unbelievable for recruitment to move on Walker, TMM and CNK on top of Tohu & SJ while sitting on a pile of cash to do nothing
