It was in response to another poster who said we were the form team.
However, this is an interesting point. My guess for NAS's comments were that 2 years ago the expectations for this club were pretty low (tipped for the spoon, but what's new) and SJ decided to play, in my opinion, the best footy he'd ever play.
The difference this year is the media hype. It died after Vegas and boy am I thankful for that.

Going to be interesting to see how Hughes handles his return with a broken hand. His replacement Jonah Pezet is requiring knee surgery and out for 10-12 weeks. Hughes early return might be out of necessity rather than his injury entirely healed. Thought Tyran Wishart was average in the trial we played against storm and think his early season form hasn’t been what it was last year

Our halves still have yet to show their A game and are still gelling together .
Metcalf’s goal kicking is very good and his enthusiasm is fantastic as is his backing up, however I still think he has some improvement in his game.
He still tends to crab across the field and hopefully can run straighter lines. He also needs to create more attacking opportunities for his outsides , whilst I’d love to see him further develop his general kicking game.
In saying that it’s good to see him injury free and leading a team with a 75% winning record.
I’m looking fwd to seeing his progress this year .

I'm ok with Tanah Boyd getting a run, I want to see him in a first grade warriors jersey and see if he can emulate what he's been doing in reserves, if thats where AW is looking... I think having TMM on the bench to come in at 6 with CHT going to lock, could work, considering Boyd and TMM been going good together.... I also want Healy to get a run but if AW is thinking of bringing in Boyd, I'd hold of on that decision for now just so, not so much changes... hell why not bring in Boyd, TMM, Healy and try a all out attack assault around the ruckI don't think metcalf will be available for the storm game. Forum definition; medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
If its based 100% on facts/ absolutes it would be pretty boring. I was going to say thats the news but we all know the news is full of sh*t most of the time also. lol
Im not opinion gatekeeping at all, but reading things that arent there in an article isnt opinion though is it?
