fair enough,
i think taine had one of the best reserve grade players in first grade games i can remember. and i think RTS isn’t really getting enough opportunities yet.
couple times he’s been cut out, a couple times he’s been out of position and a couple times metcalfe has run him and montoya out of space, but id stick with it. that side will be carving soon enough.
Don’t get me wrong- taine wasn’t bad- thought he had the chance to shut down a couple of attacking plays that rts would’ve been all over.
Not much in it but in games as close as the last 2 that can be the difference.
Maybe… we’ll never know I guess.

it was obviously a try. but i also think montoya's first effort was obviously a try. i really hate the storm. more than any other team. I'm off to rewatch round 24 2006, apart from the win, that's what it reminded me of
