Watching the replay I saw the ref pulling us off tackles instantly vs more time for Melbourne.

They won we lost. Reffing was biased.

Webby lamented rightly that if we realise how good we are and do that for 80minutes we would beat anyone. "Loosely paraphrased"

Going into the game I felt like this was a statement game to show we’re a contender and even though we lost I think we did that. When we’re back to a full complement I think we’re going to be hard to handle but can’t let the season slip by in the meantime but I like the honesty and all these things being addressed when listening to Webster

Maybe his ribs a bit sore, but he did make some good tackles. I still rate, he just needs more time in our system.

Yeah it was a criticism of him in the gf too though- that he didn’t tie in from the inside quick enough.
The video review is gonna be a hard watch for the boys this week.

Yeah that's what it is for, seemed innocuous and just in the heat of the moment but I guess you have to protect refs.

Laban very impressive again today, first try like shot out of a cannon and second one dragged about 4 guys over the line to score. Couple of iffy defensive reads but the team as a whole looked disjointed. Thought Ford was good after being critical of him but with Laban playing on the right, would you swap Capewell to the left to accommodate him?

Tohu struggled to keep up with the 20 something kids during the finals imoh.. Just looked old and step off the pace.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. They both in their 30’s right ?
Long season. Body takes longer to recover when you hit that 30 mark. Worse in your 40’s

Jahrome Hughes has been charged by the NRL judiciary after an incident with a match official and will face a 1 week ban.

They can challenge that by going to the the bunker, who will say the ref ran into him
