Moral of the story, When you're wrong. Just argue to the death till everyone gives up & you'll believe you're right. Just so you can sleep good.

Okay had a bit of time to digest that now, put on my big boy pants and get over that ending.

And in all honesty i actually think that game can set up our season like the Sharks game last year did. I think more importantly the team and players can take confidence and belief that when they get their systems right, they can go toe to toe with the best of them.

First half the errors and penalties we're killers, plus our middle defence needed tightening. They addressed this at halftime and put it into practice the 2nd. Most teams know what they need to do to improve but in reality only the real good teams can go out and do that.

That 2nd half we were basically outstorming the Storm. Just grinding them down. Rinse and repeat bomb to Coates either for the error or make them start their sets deep in their half getting the ball back in good field position to apply more pressure. And then we also showed down in their 10 we could open a good defensive team up with our shapes.......and it was working.......we applied that pressure for all but 2 minutes.

So yeah the boys will get belief from that performance imo, get better in the areas they need to get better and i can see us being there or thereabouts.

Few bullshit calls. We know we're always going to get those calls go against us. Just need to develope thicker skin and a mean streak when this happens & use it to our advantage instead of sulking.

Those set moves the storm used to score wasn't a fluke. Papi & Hughes are experienced & know what they're doing. We had kids in our spine. We did fucking good!

Okay, my take is that "not played at" is when you are passive, like it ricocheting off you in the line. I'm not sure I would call Barnett passive.

But, I have never read the rule book on this so more than willing to be called out as wrong.

If you put yourself in a position as Barnett did, 100% played at.

As you say, passive richochet not played at.
