I'm not into the rivalry but just as a watcher I can't see the Q L D pack containing the N S W pack. But if they do it should at least be an entertaining fight vs a good old fashioned beating.
I'm at that stage now. Still support Qld. But not as passionately as I did in the 80s & 90s. I love the banter that comes with it. Especially those in the know. Not these willy nilly part time fans who still ask me which state Stacey Jones played for?

Looks a bit drab and dreary, almost sickly, quite apt I suppose.
A nice darkish crimson for the rest of the season I think would set off the banner quite nicely.

Yes if the teams/bench stays the same I see NSW winning the middle and the game ..doesn't matter how great you edges are if you can't gain much ground off the ruck when you pack is rooted and you bring PONGA on as forward bench ? or is the plan a FB rotation LOL
