Have heard the drums beating louder and louder this- but realistically who from overseas would you bring in? Richie Mounga is the only one I can think of?
As soon as the allow it there will be a mass exodus and the level of local comps will plummet, it also puts selections at the mercy of foreign domestic comps- just see the troubles the PI and Argentina in particular had getting access to players in French comps

The current crop have no clutch mental toughness. They need to bite it and pay out Richie’s contract and reimburse him with sponsorship or something, others won’t have ground to complain or follow, he’s a generational playmaker winning the Super title 7 times (3 with full comp), if he doesn’t return next year Razor could be done there were precedent of coaches fired after 2 seasons unless you’re from the Graham Henry regime. He could drop 3 games on tour (5 in a year) and if McKenzie continues to choke at clutch moment like he’s done his whole career Razor’s gone, unless Barrett matures into a clutch 10, something he is not known for his while career either, both he and DMac are erratic af when the pressure is on, he was amazing vs England to rescue the game this year though.

I know it’s a team sport blah blah blah but when the teams are dead even your playmakers can’t be bombing key moments like an amateur, SA won all 3 knockout games by 1 point at the world cup.

Rugby is now an unwatchable series of slow mo replays of each set piece. There is no flow. Scrum, a ruck, then ball gets kicked out out. Teams jog to the sidelines to reset a lineout while the spectators watch replays of the ruck in slowmo. Let’s have a closeup of the player rolling away from the ball, and zone in on the hands and people pushing players out of the way

Tbh when im watching Rugby these days im mostly just speculating what the likes of Caleb Clarke, Sevu Reece and Will Jordan would look like on the end of a League backline. This Wallace Sititi got a bit about him too.
