Not a bad stat but that's not why he should be picked. I don't know, maybe the halves haven't helped him as much. I mean he's just a battle ram!He has one of the fastest play the ball speeds. 0.5 seconds quicker that the team average. As a result the lad taking the hit up after him tends to make more meters as defenses are often still back tracking when the ball is in Wade's hands.
I am not a MN fan boy but you asked the question, there is the answer
And Jazz and Marcel
thought boyd was 18th man, so not part of the bench, I think?
Except he represented Australia. The Warriors aren't a rep team and neither are the Knights. They did the anthems as part of an ANZAC ceremony. Ponga has NZ background. That's all. Nothing to do with league contracts. Whether he comes here or not, he's not dropping hints by singing the anthem.
errr… Boyd was 18th…Good solid minutes by the Rookies
Would have preferred if Webby gave Boyd a run when Metcalf started cramping but guessing he didn’t want to “waste” an interchange

Maybe because they’re kiwis….lolOff topic but I noted Spencer Leniu singing the Nz national anthem in the anzac ceremony pre match Roosters-Dragons.
You sure it's not because he wants to play for the Warriors?Maybe because they’re kiwis….lol
Well that would be great, does that mean Spencer and Naufahu Whyte does too?You sure it's not because he wants to play for the Warriors?
It’s the salary though I have a problem with. All hypothetical of course, but if he did come over it surely wouldn’t be for less than his $1.5 million per season? He’s one of the best on his day thoughWell that would be great, does that mean Spencer and Naufahu Whyte does too?
Na but ye it could be ay, he looks disinterested at knights. I think he will genuinely come to us or union in NZ. Maybe that biggest signing ever was more than an rumour.
Imagine Ponga sweeping both sides and linking up with Ali and Leka.

Never understood why points are awarded for a Bye. But when Byes were first introduced, that's what was decided...Our for and against record compared with the other top sides is abysmal. Our position on the ladder is also enhanced by having taken the bye over other teams who haven't. (eg Raiders, Broncos and Sharks) Really, I don't see the point of awarding two points for the bye. It would be far better not to award any points at all as teams are given equal number of byes throughout the year.
Does it though? 2 points is up for grabs for every team each week so makes sense. No points for a bye makes the table hard to understand because of teams playing less games than others.Never understood why points are awarded for a Bye. But when Byes were first introduced, that's what was decided...
Stupid, frankly. And makes the table a tad harder to understand than it should be...

For those negative nancies complaining about our p/d and arguing that the bye is inflating our position just note this. We are 5-2-1. There are only 5 teams that have 5 or 6 wins. So even if you take away bye pts, we are still inside the top 5 performing teams in this comp. That's still an amazing achievement no matter how glass half-empty you want to be. We have 19 weeks to fix our p/d situation. Just enjoy the little victories for now.
