I noticed the respect that JWH had for Ale , both on and off the field .
Also , when Sam Walker put the kick over to the other side of the ground for Sualiii to score , Barnett almost pushed Ford out of the way to try and get to him .

We discuss so many issues and solutions but to repeat my opinion and it includes other people's ideas too. Our pack is not dominating other packs. Therefore even when we get into good scoring territory we are getting poor quality ball for SJ (who is too dominant a playmaker) to execute our set moves or even play off the cuff.

The reason our pack is losing is because our only dominant forwards with ball in hand are Addin (oh man he's leaving) and Barney (who's not actually a prop). That leaves injury prone Capewell, old and slow Tohu and mistake prone Fordy.

Then our defence has decayed and is brittle and easily compressed causing the edge and wings to come in to stop the middle leaks. When it's straight numbering up issues, individuals are either failing their 1 on 1 tackles or leaving their post or simply our compressed defence makes us outnumbered by at least 1 - 5 opposition players.

Throw in our lack of planning around having anyone else but Shaun making plays and that covers a lot of our issues. We seem to have lots of mediocrity players at this point
Nailed it

MrFrankWhite MrFrankWhite you on Tohu watch today sarge? Had one glaring forward pass but he looked a bit more energised, bit of sting in a few tackles, less laying around dying behind the play. Or am I blind to his failings. Not saying he was dynamic, he is called Zombie after all. Actually the whole team looked like WW1 vets back from the Somme after being gassed and shelled.
Yeah TBH he didn’t look as bad as previous weeks. Two problems, 50% of his tackles were soft and the other 50% were 3rd man flops.

This issue is Ale shows him up with footwork and energy. Our first dominate tackle of the game was Ale and Ford folding a guy.

Agree with this, except Barney is a decent prop.
Would likely be selected for NSW if his teams form wasn't so bad.

The bench guys were the most hungriest today. Walker, Ale and Jazz all played with heart and probably the reason why we had a turn around in the 2nd half.

We look so much better on attack with Walker on the pitch. He's creating some opportunities and has been less predictable than Shaun.

The people crying for Kosi over Montoya got what they deserved. As bad as Montoya has been, Kosi is not the answer.

Im not sure when RTS is back but its time to end the center experiment. He needs to go into fullback and CNK to partner with Pompey on the left.

Absolutely 100%

Didn't see to much calling for Kosi.

Many calling for Pompey to centre and RTS to wing. I'd like them to go with this if Pompey plays well - which I suspect he will.

It's likely that was the plan, Montoya was put on a plane home and then RTS went down...

Many calling for changes, including a few for Kosi. Just shows that while the team might not be travelling so well at the moment the only real changes that might make a difference looks like the bench make up and our forwards.

AW said that the RTS injury happened three days ago. Hard to fathom dropping Montoya with this disruption already on that edge. Will he bring him back for the Panthers game or stick with Kosi? Whoever it is, they will have to lift big time with the right edge Panthers attack so dominant.

Never thought Webby would be the problem after last year! We just going out to lose with that defence every week!

He looked fucking dejected yesterday, almost with tears in his eyes. I reckon he maybe realised that this year is it, his body probably can't go around again.
Yea, I think it really hit him then that the drream was nearly over. I have questions ;
- on the chicken wing which was imo deliberate with no response from the ref or bunker. Does he have an option to sue the player responsible?
- and Why the hell did the team spend days in Terrigal?
I'm still not drinking Webster's kool aid

Was Webster worried that Montoya wouldn't be big enough to handle Young? That's the only reason I can think of for resorting to a prop wing.

There's nothing wrong with Ed's effort but his agility is poohs. He'd be heavier than all our forward pack except Tohu and Addin. Listed at 107kg but I reckon he'd be 115kg or more, he has legs like tree trunks.

Do you thinks it's possible Montoya was dropped before shecks Injury? Maybe sheck was going to wing perhaps?
