Not sure what you mean there. He did get KTFO late in the game.

Asking what category it was as he was out before he hit the ground and stayed down. It wasn't a lying down like a boxer that had been slept. But still not sure if it would be an automatic stand down or not.
Nah I know, I just thought he played like he had a head knock from the kickoff! Was a shit joke 😃 this fucken sucks! What have they done since that manly game that has switched them off?

The last 60 mins was okay but still, they are playing like busted arses!

Is it crazy of me to think Tohu should just retire at seasons end and JFH take over from day one?

I don't think the warriors can afford to carry him next year.

I actually thought Jazz played really well today. Few nice grass cutters on their big boys and some good quick lines on attack.

I'd rather Zyon Maiu’u for Bunty. Need a bit of bloody mongrel on the bench.

Zyon Maiu’u did more in his 20min stint vs Titans than many of our forwards all year.

Running towards the goal posts as hard as he can - it's the only way.

Three runs like that then a block play is what we should be doing.

We have become too cute. And too cute means predictable.

Hard to fully comprehend what has happened. This team should be sniffing a round the 8, which in itself is a step down on early season expectations.

Bottom 4 with two top 4 opponents next two weeks. This season is going to get very ugly, already is.

I'm sure there was another thread re: how are you feeling at the moment, or something along those lines. I can't find it so here goes...

Early Games:
My gut feel is not bagging points in those first 2 games has been a huge factor in this slump and our loss of confidence. The team had massive expectations heading into this year and rightly so after last year and the offseasons acquisitions. So to then lose 2 in a row with one of those at home in front of a sold out crowd who you didnt lose to last year, and the other by a miracle try, wouldve been hugely deflating. It then forced them to need points in the next few games to stay in contact with those top teams and the top 4 which I am sure the team wouldve been shooting for. They got some points but it didnt look as slick as last year and I feel the pressure was already beginning to build. From there it turned into panic footie and although we won games (and drew 1) by the skin of our teeth we were often not convincing. The pressure valve continued to build and when the Titans rolled us it just tightened further.

Injuries
On top of that we have had a massive injury toll. I concede that aside from Rogers and SJs injury today they havent necessarily been to key personnel and other teams have issues which many have overcome, but the issue has just been a share numbers game and we dont quite have the depth to cover this number of injuries. Yes our depth is solid, but if you keep digging too deep into reserves its going to become pretty dire unless you have an established pathways system like the Panthers.

Attitude:
Tbh with you, although this season is essentially as good as gone I have largely been pretty happy with the teams attitude. Yes its not that Melbourne Storm level grit, but comparative to seasons and teams past at least I can see this team and coach really give a shit. They dig in when the going is tough. They are fighting. I saw some video footage of the sheds from last week and they were all dejected but they were all listening attentatively. There was no shit 'I dgaf' body language. They truly are in this together. And this is what gives me hope moving forward. There is still light at the end of this tunnel for me...maybe not this year, but these guys will learn.

Obviously I'm gutted and now I am also a bit apathetic about the games and season sadly. This ship (club) is going to take awhile to turn around in its entirety but the powers that be are putting the pieces of the puzzle together (the pathways and success with Harold Matthews being a case in point). I back Webbie as our coach and still believe he is the right man for this club. Remember he will learn from this and grow as well.

Johnson out for 4-6 weeks is going to be tough. he had that leg injury late in the season years ago. We were close to the semis than pretty much fell off the rails big time.

We were sinking before he got injured. Can see it looking even uglier without Johnson.
Can it get much worse a loss is a loss IMHO SJ had a final decent season last year and should have won dailyM

I can see him retire the end of this season ...should talk Tohu into it as well ..would free up a ton of cap space

Geez how in any way is Kosi a winger ..

Also why do so many of the warriors look so slow and unfit ??

No way Kosi is a winger

If Kosi is a winger then so is Bunty, Ale, AFB and every other big mac I can think of

I couldn't believe the absolute lack of fitness and pace on the guy. Dom Young was running rings around him, and old Ed would end up 20m behind the ball huffing and puffing as he slowly jogged back.

Why do we keep developing hookers who can't pass, halves who can't kick and wingers who can't run?!?!

yeap, anyone with half a brain can see hes not a winger anymore

I been saying it all along, last season was a fluke. The team and coach. Signing RTS and Capewell didn't help either.
