At least ya gotta win from the NSW cup team!!
Yeah the debate today was around doing the clothesline after the NSW Cup game or skipping it and working on it. The kids wanted to go. Glad we did. Good seeing a game during the day when it is warm.

Was going to skip or work around everything to see the NRL game. Usually the 4pm game I'm exhausted and have a nap on the couch. A pity I didn't do that either.

Warriors have always been a team that sticks to the rules.
The best teams learn to win by manipulating the rules.
In a Ozzie league we will never get away with anything.
You are 100% right. The top teams are the best at it, and they get away with it consistently. It's the reason I hate Melbourne with a passion, they are the main culprit in our game becoming what it is

After 29 years of pain is it too much to ask for a couple of seasons in a row of being in the top half of the table? So frustrating.

SkyNZ get rid of the terrible panel and Daryl Halligan and spend the money saved on NZ commentary for away games. ACC commentary is not funny at all when we are losing.

Missing Metcalf big time on attack, Tohu touches the ball too much and is slow. Decent season last year and CNK have masked the terrible decision to release Walsh early

Your post was going somewhere, agree with your first two points.

However, nothing no way no how up down to the left to the right has anything to do with Walsh.

It was two years ago, get over it

Some big injuries this round creating headlines.

It is looking like we may have been hit with one with Johnson. A brave effort battling through. Still questions should be asked if it was wise and if it did more damage or not.

Well things are ugly now. If he is out for any length it will probably get a lot worse. Last year when we rested him it wasn't pretty. It typifies the luck of this club when we are finally relieved Johnson's leg injury is getting better and he can train more than he has. He then picks up another injury which could be a lot more serious.

Was Lussick classified as a category 1. That could be another option down.

Hopefully Walker pulls through with his ankle.
Did lussick injure himself in the changing sheds before kickoff?

How the fuck was Keary able to stay on after the chicken wing. A few professional fouls ignored.

Also, when we took the quick 6 again, he was not back 10 and she knew it BADGER just gave pen instead of a prof foul. if she is the so-called best lady Reff God help us. oh and I nearly forgot the deliberate leg trip on our winger stopping him scoring just a pen Badger stinks

Chooks started with finals intensity & just out muscled us off the park….GAME OVER aftr 15mins really….

Major point:Rocco puts our whole defensive line under pressure (which saps energy we can’t recover from)with constant grass cutters….Opponents get fast PTB whilst our centre is still out of the D line….
Coaches are exploiting this tackling habit now….

NRL don’t reward one on one safe tackles period!!!!
-That technique should hold bigger value with a 5sec timed delay before play restarts possibly….
But as of right now it’s fukn us big time….

I think sup42 ’s positive outlook has me thinking.

While we may think this is just us regressing to the mean (like we had one fluke season and it’s back to being shit again), the injury toll has been hugely disruptive and has affected our performance this season.

Starting the season without Charnze. Walker and Jazz missing chunks of the season. Nikoure only playing 1 game.

Bunty missed games. Egan missed games.

Capewell is out. CHT is out. Metcalf is out. Nikoure as mentioned above.

SJ playing injured, probably gonna miss games now too. Tohu is playing knackered.

We haven’t been full strength all season. We haven’t been healthy and the results are showing.

Not trying to make excuses, but I’m leaning to this being an off year (so far) due to injuries and depth being tested.

Coaching can be attributed too. I think Webby has been too shy to unleash some of our younger, inexperienced and untested players that show promise. His bench use has been questionable at times as well.

I don’t think last year was a fluke, maybe it was a glimpse. This year is a reminder to keep our expectations in check.

Webby will be forced to use some of the aforementioned young guns in the coming weeks due to said injury toll. That will give us reassurance that the future is still bright for this Warriors organisation.

Were still heading in the right direction. This is just growing pains.

Glass half full anyway. Better then being grumpy I guess.

Going to be some forced changes biggest challenge out wide next week against panthers. Not sure we have a solution but surely can’t play Kosi.

Some easier changes I see:
Zyon Maiu’u in for Tevaga who I can’t see playing many more games for warriors.

With SJ out Tane to 6 TMM to play 7 unless CHT fit.

Laban to take Egans bench spot who will start at 9 with Lussick HIA

Big fan of Ali but not sure nows the right time to bring him in unless for Kosi but how much wing has he played?
