Glad the boys stayed in the game. Simply don’t have the talent especially in the outside backs.

What is concerning to me is how much we have regressed in just 4 weeks. This is not normal. Clearly something is going wrong off the field. Until Webby addresses that we will only get worse. Roosters clocking off in the second half made the game look better for us than it actually was. The hole keeps getting bigger.
The effort in the first 20 minutes wasn't that of a professional League team, that was an embarrassment.
We're just lucky The Roosters took their foot of the throat and made us look better than what we were.

About what I expected given our form. There's some fight there but I fear it will take time to turn things around, especially with no SJ.
On the bright side we may see players like Ali finally get some runs. I think we lack size on the bench. Put Tohu back there and bring up Zyon Maiu’u for a few weeks at least. Ale to 13. Walks will probably be 6 and Te at 7 which gives me the shits but whaddyagonna do

The roosters walked a fine line all game but got away with it- could’ve quite easily had 2 or 3 in the bin.
Ultimately we were just outclassed though- afb, Egan, Barnett, Sj and dwz all tried hard but the rest were either off their games or just aren’t up to it.
