Hopefully everything is ok there down in the BOP, yeah haven't seen her post or load photos of the legendary sign she puts out in front of her house.
This Dolphins side worries me on paper aye - class backline with plenty of speed and x-factor. Will be a tough game... Warriors by 40.
According to the Rugby League Guru, Dolphins will have a few changes - Fuller into Centre, Averillo into 6, Schneider into 9 an Plath into 13. Big structural spine changes.
As always on a chilly but calm Wellington night, the game is won in the forwards. I think we have a clear advantage and Webby has plugged the holes in the edges that we saw in the Tigers and Sharks games. Dolphins will try and play an up tempo game becuase they can’t grind for 80.
I have a feeling EIT may play tonight with Wayde playing 80…

don't mind that if it eventuates - biggest advantage is our second row, which is enhanced by placing some defensively shallow players like Averillo in and about there, so really hope Leka is used a bit better, and we see Laban with some hard carries - get second phase around the ruck : all good, us by a lot
feels so weird. Wouldn't they just move Hammer to the centers and move Fuller to FB? Morgan Knowles is out too for them. Erin to give Schneider a few more nightmares in this game.

wasn't that Napier? Good people of Wah-ling-ton would never do that!
It was Napier too! The end of our last game here against the Knights we had multiple Muppets streaking on the field, one even lifted a security guard up & spare tackled him.

This game will closer initially than some think IMO. Need to ensure they don't get any reward for their efforts in the first half and then we can roll over the top of them in the second half as they tire after last week's game in the heat and the extra travel.
Let them in early and that might be enough for them to lift and go on with it.
I'm not fussed with the scoreline. As long as we see intensity, shape, resilience in defence and no panic play.
Herbie and Hammer the watch outs and they'll more than likely be targeting our right edge defence of Boyd, Ali and DWZ with our decision making.

You have to feel for those flying from Auckland to Wellington today, with a number of flights canceled. They will miss the game tonight.
