This has merit because even with the 6 man bench meaning you have more coverage, say a half gets injured in the last quarter we can't bring a 5th guy off the pine. Egan back on & Hanson to halves is stronger than Healey continuing at dummy & Egan into halves

He's been regularly on the field even if it is smaller minutes. It's a genuine strategy these days since the start Ben Hunt at 9 and then sub him for Harry Grant in state of my organ.

Isnt Pompey just Bunty at centre? Great club man, a bit above reggie's but not quite top of the depth chart at his position. Any of the wing / centres cant slack off because Wets is waiting in the wings to mount a come back.

AKP was always going to come into the side when he earned it in the teams eyes and RTS is impossible to leave out and has adjusted to centre much better than his first season back and understands what he needs to do for his winger with him usually that winger. Him feeding AKP for a try was encouraging. Pompey earned his spot back off RTS, turned down interest from the knights to earn an extension and will be in competition to earn his spot back. The reality is it’s a great outcome that there’s so much competition in the squad that when a player picks up a suspension or injury that it’s hard to get the spot back is a good thing

Anderson’s a lot faster, better under the high ball thus legit cover wing

It's an awesome buzz that when the next man up gets their shot and owns it. Wettz can wait for his turn and when he gets it I'm sure he'll be hungry to be part of the team and participate in what's happening on the field. Also it might just be a case of looking after a bloke that doesn't know how to look after a new baby. Heck I don't know but the team named looks capable for once. Remember the days when we were weeping sadly over who some of our guys named were?

I was actually weeping that Tanah was driving the bus for round 1 until he shredded the chooks for the first try.

Not just Webby- our center spot has been a concern since day 1.

Pompey at his peak is serviceable but he’s still capable of making game breaking bloopers. Then we have the man made of glass and fruit Rocco followed by the very raw but talented Ali Leiataua.

The question is - how much better is Anderson ?? From what I’ve seen he’s serviceable like a Pompey 2.0 but that’s about it ??

I think this season has to be Roccos last chance. I’d love to see both Rocco and ALi playing to their full potential. That is how we win a premiership
