There squad is pretty shit tbh, one of the few worse than ours on paper. If we lose this one it is a very bad sign for the year.

Listening to Barnett in clips, he mentions fitness and telling the boys we know we’re fit. I’m expecting us to be fairly mobile

I’d say Ford has more of a 70 minute motor because errors due to fatigue creep in if he plays the full 80. Still a decent motor though and gets through a tonne of work.

On the bench, as well as his normal rotation he covers an early game injury which the others probably can’t yet (although I think Laban is almost there).

Aside from Hazleton strolling through our middle 2 min in to our first trial, largely I think our defence has appeared solid.

We were great in 2023 defence wise, then fell off the boil in 2024. Surely, surely we've worked on that a while heap in the off season. If we haven't, well then it's going to be a long hear haha.

The TAB have us as decent favourites against the Raiders, so that's something

Fair but he has named 2 rookie backrowers on the bench, which is a big step for Webby. I think barring injury both the rookies will end up starting some time this season.

I can see us losing in all the usual ways, but I also see the ingredients for a semi successful season.

I've seen a few interviews about how fit the guys are. The defense looked good in the trial.

Let's hope both of those points are accurate. Keep in the contest and make other sides work to beat us and we not beat ourselves. That will help with the task of turning around 2024.

Pretty cool seeing the team training in the Vegas sun. Train hard, enjoy the time away with the boys and hopefully pick up2 points.

It looks like Sky are only playing the two NRL games. I haven't seen the Super League game or the Women's International on the schedule. It could change.

I'm starting to regret agreeing to my wife organising my son's birthday party on Sunday. I did the father yeah, yeah it's all sweet thing". Now it's getting closer the logistics are looking a little tight to get home, hopefully, just in time for kick-off. The kids will be keen to watch.

Looking forward to the weekend. The Vegas games were interesting last year. The novelty may eventually wear off but this year we have our side. It is also rare for the Warriors to be playing at this time of day (Aus/NZ time).

he must be injured..otherwise there is no way he would'nt have been in the squad

Not every change yields immediate success. That they are there is a great sign. We will need the entire 30 at various points of the season
