Hi. First I’m sorry if I’ve missed something (I try and watch every game) I also have a tag of somehwat being a berry hater so slight bias but what’s up with all this Berry hype???

I just don’t get it!! is there something wrong with me? He’s average at best. Never breaks tackles, average yardage meters, can only do basic draw and pass but never creates anything for his winger. Does his job on defence and kick chase but that’s about it. He looks so fucking Gumby when he runs and most Leah’s gets manhandled.

Berry’s an all sorts type of player at present & no doubt he is playing to his coaches instructions…
Can see him being a mix of Brent Tate & Jarred Mc Cracken after he fills out….
Footy smarts definitely in his DNA….
Also he only jus getting started…

I think everyone is getting excited by berry because we don't have the best track record of developing young talent the kid is still pretty fresh in the grand scheme overall he is a pretty decent defender plays with a lot of effort and his kick chase is quite a standout you can see glimpses of some attacking flair and he has the pedigree being the son of an all black
