Berry said he’s hoping he will be alright for next week (with a sad face)

Dallin doing his best to break his wrist again during team song slapping the rubbish bin. Thought at least he was perfect with all the high balls today, drop one we might lose

If Barney is a 6 weeker he might only miss 3 games though all big ones with all the byes in between - sharks panthers broncos

Excellent win.

Went pretty much as expected. Two very similar strength sides, Warriors with the grit and wrestling game to stay with Souths and take it off them when it counted.

Top four stays alive for another week. Winning against Souths balances out the narrow loss to the Raiders.

Warriors are now undeniably one of the better teams this season.

Barnett looks like he did an MCL on his right knee. Good news is he should be back this season, even if it is severe...there is a chance in that surgery scenario that he could play finals.

Fingers crossed it is a minor strain or tear and he is back in three weeks or so.

I don't know if we can beat the top teams with the LM/CHT halves combo. They are both good in effort areas but just don't think they can unlock the better defences and their long kicking games aren't good enough.
Not asking for them to be dropped but think we must be looking around for those skills. Though surely long kicking you can learn?

Correct name, tragic to be complaining after one of our biggest wins of the season. Away too.

Did none of you fullas watch the first Fast and Furious movie?

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.

I'll post the meme later on

Blocker's commentary.

The play by play commentator even set one up for him with "Someone you've been impressed with in recent weeks Blocker, Marata Niukore".
That should be an easy on for a colour commentator "He's had some tough runs" or "Gives them some aggression". Instead we got silence.

Every game he has to point the Warriors forwards are slow to get back. This week he was quick on it. Kick return for the first tack and he says it as the outside back is doing the second carry. That is pretty much standard for every NRL side. Yes, it showed our guys waiting but that was to not interfere with the play.

CHT 63/82 for 76.83%

Pompey 45/62 for 72.5%

Metcalf 44/67 for 65.67%

and for reference
SJ 559/732 for 76.37%

Generally 75% is the accepted level to be considered a 'good' goal kicker.

Elite is approx 80%

El Masri: 81.97%
Thurston: 79.50%
Halligan: 79.31%%

Metcalf is a poor goal kicker, no two ways about it. It's not hurting us quite yet but it will kill us in the finals
