The discussion revolves around team selections for the upcoming Rabbitohs v Warriors match, with a strong focus on potential changes following a recent loss. Many contributors, including Sydneywarrior92 #25, suggest avoiding drastic changes, pointing out the tough conditions and the strength of their opponent. However, there's considerable debate regarding individual player performance. Specifically people are looking at players like DWZ Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, and whether he is performing at the capabilities needed for the team and that the team is not putting him into the position where he can score. CWC #6, sydneywarrior92 #7 Playdaball #8 all provided their predicted team lists.
A key point of contention is the interchange bench, with several posters advocating for Shaun Lane Healey over TMM Jazz Tevaga, citing Healey's potential impact and versatility. Others suggest resting Leka for the game so that that Leka can be more effective coming off the bench, as some contributors like CWC #52 have noticed a correlation between him coming off bench and their second half preformances. BangBro's still banging^33 suggested Healey should be in the team, feeling that Egan Wayde Egan was not as effective in the previous game playing for the entire 80 minutes.
The return of key players like JFH James Fisher-Harris and Barney Mitch Barnett is anticipated to bolster the team's strength. There's uncertainty about Barney's availability and playing time following his State of Origin duties, as well as numerous discussions about who will be replaced due to the return of players. sydneywarrior92 #66 predicts Marata may shift back to the bench, and Leka returning to the starting lineup but stated that Ford will likely get more playing time to ease BarneyMitch Barnett into the game, with low scores being expected.
That's how he broke his hand. Gun shy now.My memory could be off but I don’t recall any aerobic tries required y DWZ since he’s been back
For me I am happy to tweak in any circumstances if its right for the team. I hate the saying never change a winning team as that doesn't automatically mean everyone is playing well. In our current situation? I am happy with how it is, maybe just a bench reshuffle to make it more effective. I'm a bit over Bunty's limited minutes to be honest, either make him play longer and if he can't do that to a high level put him in reserves.Would love to know what people's threshold is for change.
For me, while we haven't been scoring loads of points we've still been winning, so I feel a tweak here or there, or injured/suspended players returning generally get a look in.
Then there's some, who after one loss are wanting CNK or Chanel dropped, MGT to come in, Leka to half and Lussick to prop
Haha I jest, but would love to know what people's thoughts are...like, we've been winning loads lately and lost to the team coming 2nd by 6, what's the parameters you're looking at in relation to change?
Not directed at anyone in particular, I think it's a good opportunity for discussion!
Tbf we haven’t put him in a position to get tries yetMy memory could be off but I don’t recall any aerobic tries required y DWZ since he’s been back
