Yeah hard to blame a young guy when that sort of money is put in front of them. Look at James Tamou. I don’t think he ever came to terms with his decision to turn his back on NZ, but career wise it was probably the way to go.

Would love to see a time where there is an international window in the middle of the year and Pac Champ ratings compete with SOO so that the $ on offer are the same

Getting excited about this test match.

Nice as a Kiwis fan to be in the box seat with a large points differential on our side.

Will be an incredible story if Tonga make the Final from here.

The comp is tilted in the Kiwis favor with the draw, we get a warm up test vs Samoa, a weeks rest, then no breaks to the final so come in hardened off - while Samoa have that nagging problem of too much time on your hands before the final.

Tonga on the other hand just got dudded all around by the draw, three tests in a row if they make it and having a cold start in game one.

Why isnt there a fourth team like PNG or Fiji?

I cannot stand seeing the Kiwis post fifty point fake wins over Tonga and Samoa or anyone that has lots of their people in our team, it is like cowardice from my hood background.

Even if all PNG and Fiji’s best players turned out for them, they don’t have the calibre of players that Samoa and Tonga does
 
McGregor as captain is baffling. Offers nothing in attack, zero spark, and her defence is hit-and-miss. Hales has been living off reputation too — Albert-Jones brings far more energy and intent. The whole attack looks one-paced and predictable with these passengers out there.
